Most Helpful Positive Review Remington 700 Rifle Basix trigger 4oz-20oz
Rifle Basix makes one of the best aftermarket triggers. 15-30 minute installation do it yourself. This is my third, 2 Remington and 1 Savage. This one I used in a Remington 700 5R 223. Trigger was preset to 5 oz, by my scale, no creep or over travel. What more do you need in an aftermarket trigger.

I’m loving this trigger. Breath wrong and it’ll go off when at its lightest setting. Definitely not a hunting trigger but is excellent for precision shooting!
Pros:

  • 4 oz for precision shooting

  • 4oz is too light for hunting

Nice upgrade for a XR-100

Did have to use the OEM bolt release plate, but that was not hard to swap. Also very minor wood removal for full safety movement. Nice and crisp 20 ounce trigger pull.

I installed this in my Remington 700 Adjusted the pull weight to 2.5#s. No creep or over travel Highly recommend this trigger for Remington 700

Great Trigger

A great all-purpose trigger for the cost. I installed it on a Remmington 700 .223 for competitive brenchrest shooting. I set the trigger pull at 6 ounces abd it works great. At 100 yds, all shots were touching (75 gr bullet, Varget 22.5 gr load).

This was probably one of the smartest things I ever did was when I bought this Traeger it works well. The price is right it’s Crips it is clean and cost a lot less then the others I will buy again for sure love it

Awesome trigger

I really like this Trigger I was looking at more expensive ones. I just could not bring myself to spend the money when I ran across this and I love it. It is an awesome trigger crisp, clean, no creep I think you will be hard pressed to find a better trigger for the money

Not a perfect fit.

This trigger may be a perfect fit for the model 700 Remington. Description stated it also fits the 721 Remington which I have. It was easy to install. Only problem was that the trigger was tight against the back of the trigger guard. Could not fire the gun. I made it work by trimming out the back of the trigger guard. So if you don't want to modify your 721, do not buy this trigger.
