the only thing i would change is the security strap. instead of a plastic buckle i would use a secured inside of the strap (stitching) and a velcro outside release not he outside. However this was easy to change when i received the product. the neck strap glitsch was uncommfortable for a long were time but easy to fix. i just purchased an automobile seat belt pad.

Bought this holster for my Ruger Super Redhawk revolver. Gun has a 7.5" barrel and 2x6 scope mounted with 1" rings. The fit is perfect. Loose enough to allow easy draw, but still securely enclosing the weapon/optics. It doesn't move around in the holster and feels very secure. Holster is a nice size too, not bulky, but has adequate padding. If you have a 9" barrel on your Redhawk, this holster will probably work for you. The bottom of the holster is not sewn completely closed, so it can accomodate longer barrel lengths. It looks like barrels longer than 8" would extend through the bottom of the holster. The material is good quality, and worksmanship is also good. The holster is open on top; there is no cover flap, which I consider a plus. There is a safety strap which can be snapped over the trigger. The shoulder strap is heavy-duty and the plastic snap closures are beefy. There is no shoulder pad, and no waist strap. It would be fairly simple to add those if desired. Overall, a real nice product for the price. Really satisfied and will recommend to others.
