I bought this because I'm doing a rifle with blue accents. I chose this because it looked a little darker than the generic anodized blue offerings from other manufacturers. It took a good long while to arrive, but I am so happy with it that I don't care. It is definitely darker than most other blues you find, but it's most certainly not datk blue. It has a matte finish so it's not super shiny which is perfect for me. Thoroughly pleased with this handguard from RISE Armament.

Light weight, well built, great fit, only wish they made more lengths.

Well, I do. I looked at around 600 free float hand guards, and this one fit the bill. Quality workmanship, amazing fit and finish. I didn’t even consider the price because I was looking for a specific design and this one had it. Now that it is installed, it’s super comfortable. What else can I say, I love it.

Craftsmanship of this handguard is excellent. I would highly recommend RISE products, and plan to purchase other products of theirs in the future. The purchase thru Optics Planet was an excellent experience.

The 12 O’clock slots are not to spec and I can’t use them to mount my remote switch where I want it.

Purchased but have not yet installed on my build. Color is exactly what I wanted. Very nice piece. Nice and light in weight.

Custom build solid fit very well made but if you plan to add extra rails to the top to extend for a flex sight and magnifier the rail will be to high

First time using a product from Rise Armament and thoroughly impressed by the ergonmics, aesthetics, durabilty, and quality. I highly suggest this handguard.

13.5 handguard on a sharp bros hellbreaker lower and spikes tactical billet upper . Ve built plenty of high end ar15s well over $3800 this was goin to go on my newest build $4800 total build once done . ONLY REASON I ORDERED THIS HANDGUARD was because the fluting on the handguard where the barrel nut is matched thr fluting in my upper receiver n thats it . I got itntoday went to install it . Barrel nut was on tight no problem went to install the handguard the anti rotation tabs were not snug and i can see why they pit anti rotation tabs on this handguard because the locking mechanism sucks . You can not get the screws in tight enough to make this thing snug and tight to where it doesnt still move side to side . I tried to tighten them screws so tight it even stripped 2 out of the 3 screws and still not tight enough to hold in place without shaking . I never write reviews but i shoulda listened to the other reviews . STAY AWAY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING IT THINKING YOUR GUNA BE THE LUCKY GUY THAT HAS NO PROBLEMS . Because that was me ignored the reviews n thought maybe they fixed the issues …. NOPE not at all . Will be returning handguard today

Bought the 13.5" model for my new 14.5" barrel with 1.5" muzzle brake, muzzle brake wound up being inside the guard to my confusion. Took a tape measure to it, slightly over 14" in length instead of 13.5"
