Purchased but have not yet installed on my build. Color is exactly what I wanted. Very nice piece. Nice and light in weight.

Custom build solid fit very well made but if you plan to add extra rails to the top to extend for a flex sight and magnifier the rail will be to high

First time using a product from Rise Armament and thoroughly impressed by the ergonmics, aesthetics, durabilty, and quality. I highly suggest this handguard.

13.5 handguard on a sharp bros hellbreaker lower and spikes tactical billet upper . Ve built plenty of high end ar15s well over $3800 this was goin to go on my newest build $4800 total build once done . ONLY REASON I ORDERED THIS HANDGUARD was because the fluting on the handguard where the barrel nut is matched thr fluting in my upper receiver n thats it . I got itntoday went to install it . Barrel nut was on tight no problem went to install the handguard the anti rotation tabs were not snug and i can see why they pit anti rotation tabs on this handguard because the locking mechanism sucks . You can not get the screws in tight enough to make this thing snug and tight to where it doesnt still move side to side . I tried to tighten them screws so tight it even stripped 2 out of the 3 screws and still not tight enough to hold in place without shaking . I never write reviews but i shoulda listened to the other reviews . STAY AWAY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING IT THINKING YOUR GUNA BE THE LUCKY GUY THAT HAS NO PROBLEMS . Because that was me ignored the reviews n thought maybe they fixed the issues …. NOPE not at all . Will be returning handguard today

Bought the 13.5" model for my new 14.5" barrel with 1.5" muzzle brake, muzzle brake wound up being inside the guard to my confusion. Took a tape measure to it, slightly over 14" in length instead of 13.5"

Good size and design. Light weight but feels sturdy.
The interface between barrel nut and rail should be a bit tighter though, for a more secure lock up.

Same issue another reviewer had, which is when installed the 10-inch version of this handguard prevents a proper mating to the lower. Furthermore, even when the screws are fully tightened, the handguard is still loose and has a wiggle of a few millimeters.

The anti rotation tabs are uneven. Had to file 1/16 off of one side now the other side has a big gap but it’s centered. Wouldn’t be so bad except the spacer is too big and it will not tighten securely to the barrel nut that it came with. Couple that with soft screws. Bad combo. Now I need to go get new tightening screws as well as file the spacer. Not happy with this one

Great finish and solid piece. But fitment was wayyyy off!!! I had to do a good amount of filing down on the Torque plate and the handguard itself to get it to fit right. Got it to go on nice and tight in the end. But I had to put in some elbow grease. Maybe my luck? Called Rise Armament and left a message a week ago. They never got back to me. Oh well, its on nicely now and lesson learned.
