I purchased this scope new from an individual who "decided to go another direction" with their setup. Pros: Clear glass, seems well built(time will tell), reticle and illumination are crisp/clean and turrets are tactile and audible. Cons: The magnification throw is VERY stiff(may loosen up over time). The reticle isn't very intuitive, but will work for my needs. The biggest down side to this scope is what others have said, THE EYEBOX SUCKS. Anything past 5x your head/eye has to be in the 'sweet spot' or you'll lose it all to scope shadow. Also the owner a Burris rt6, the box is much better on the rt6 compared to this and basically the same reticle as the X3 moa model. Long story short--a 1-8 that's only good to 6x is a 1-6. The glass on the Riton is better than the Burris(I think), but if you can't see through it, it doesn't matter. If you're considering this Riton, get the Burris rt6. I paid 200 for the Riton, so I don't feel cheated, but at retail prices, there are better options.
Pros:
- Good glass and seems rugged

I've owned and shot some good glass in my day... but I wasn't expecting this kind hatersof value. A trusted friend recommended this to me, and I'm glad he did. Spectacular clarity, brightness, sharp reticle, and a quality finish. Yes, you could get more by spending more... but you don't need to. This X3 represents superb value, and is an amazing optic for the price. Best piece of glass I've ever owned considering performance vs cost. I don't think you can do better for the money.
Pros:
- value
- Clarity
- Warranty
- Brightness
- reticle
Cons:
- Your buddies won't know the name until they see the quality

Recieved this brand new scope and it had a hair like obstuction in the reticle. Called Riton and sent it back. They said they didn't see any thing in it. I'm sure it shifted in shipping and will return someday. If it was there once it didn't just go away. Anyway I didn't recieve a new scope as their warranty says and they kept it about a week instead of 2 days as the warranty also states. Now I'm out shipping, for a brand new scope that had to be sent back the day I took it out of the box. I like the scope and its features but the customer service is not what it is advertised.

It’s mounted but have not shot with it. That being said the quality and glass for the price point are really impressive. I have a night force and a lot of Leupold optics. Any sizes and price points. This optic looks and feels awesome, love the glass and viewing field. Can’t wait to use it.

I've had one for a some months now. I've had it mount on multiple rifles (MDR, AUG, ARX, AR) and it has been great on all of them. Even after dropping my rifle on the optic, there was no change in zero or damage at all. I prefer the reticle on the Riton than the PA ACSS reticle. A sturdy, reliable, and clear optic. I'd recommend this to anyone.
Pros:
- clear glass
- Sturdy
- Good eye relief
- reticle
- illuminated
- 1-8 magnification
- Weight and balance
Best Used for:
- hunting
- competition
- Range
- duty

I have this scope on my ar chambered in 223/556. It does everything I need the scope to do on that rifle. Amazing clarity and quick target acquisition. Amazing scope at a very affordable price point. If your looking for a high quality scope at a good price look no further

I have had this several weeks so I have no shot with it yet for honesty purposes. What I have done is mount it and and inspect it thoroughly. The reticle is a traditional horseshoe/dot with extending stadia lines for windage and elevation holds. The windage and elevation knobs are tactile and not mushy. I have small hands and they are great for me still. The scope is really beefy. I love the fact it has plenty of magnification adjustment to reach out to 600 yard distances which would probably be my limit with my AR-15 which this is going to go on. This optic is great for close work and longer distances. I'm pumped to get it out on the range. I'll update as needed.
Pros:
- Solid build
- Holdover points
- illuminated
- tactile knobs
- MOA adjustment

I took this scope to the range while training with a US Special Forces Detachment. It zeroed well and the glass is clear! What I was surprised about was the lit reticle. I didn’t think a lit reticle would have made a difference in the bright sun during a hot day. However, it does make a huge difference! I found that I could acquire the reticle faster when lit than not lit. I had to use full power, but it does make a difference. Also, I zeroed the optic at 50 yards making the top line perfect for 25 yard shots.

Great Tactical LPVO. Reticle is awesome for quick target acquisition and follow up shots, and well enough designed for longer accurate shots for a designated marksman. I have mine mounted on an RT-M mount on my 5.56 AR. Shooting Sub-MOA at 100 all day.
