not for vortex venom
Clearly says in the description that it’s intended use is for the vortex venom/viper. My venom will not fit this plate. Ordered another to see if it was a machining issue or just incorrect information.
Adapter plate for Ruger57
Ruger57 adapter plate needs modified but it is almost the only option available.I am a first time customer and was really impressed with customer service.I need to mount a Holosun 507k green dot you may not need to modify other red dot companies.

miss leading
Says for vortex viper however you are told to use the provided mounting screws that come with the optics to mount the optic to the plate well the screws that come with the optic are to long and bottom out on the slide witch allows the optic to rock

Will not a Vortex Venom
This will not mate a Ruger 57 with a Vortex Venom red dot.
The plate sits perfect on the Ruger 57 but there is no way with out heavy machining to the site and mount will it mount.
I waited for 16 days for this to be shipped to me, no clue why it would take 6 days just to get it ready to ship from Optic Planet. When I called about the delay they basically said O Well, to bad for you.
Product description needs to updated just a tad unless I missed something about this mount that was supposed to fit perfectly. As we would expect from Ruger.
