I have a Ruger 10/22 that my dad taught me how to shoot with. It is about 30 years old. I started "tricking it out" and the trigger was a weak part in the plan. The BX is easy to drop in and has a smooth and light pull. Also, the extended magazine release is very nice. I am very happy with it.
The BX trigger I received measured 2.0 pounds trigger pull (with a decent clean break), measured with two calibrated gauges - both spring and digital. Unfortunately, this is a half-pound below the minimum spec listed on the package - it says "Releases at 2.5 - 3.0 LBS". The package also shows a gr...

Big difference in pull weight. Previously, I would sometimes squeeze & not realize the safety was on.
I don't have a trigger scale, so I can't give exact numbers, but it does seem like it's half.
Installation was ridiculously easy. While it's implied you'll need to drive out two pins, they pushed right out without the need of a mallet.
Pros:
Inexpensive
effective
Easy

None

Very nice upgrade over the stock trigger. Idk why Ruger doesn’t just include these in all the 10/22s. OEM reliability and a very nice upgrade over the standard model

Just drop in part is definitely an improvement over the stock trigger assembly. Only takes a few minutes to install. Disconnect the barrel and trigger assembly from the stock then take out two pens; old one comes out and new one drops in. My only complaint is I think Ruger should make this standard on new production rather than having to pay extra for this assembly.
