Ruger flip up
Bought this for my AR556 when I swapped out handguards from stock. Function is perfect, holds zero, and matches the factory installed rear flip up perfect. They aren't Magpul, but they function well. No complaints.
Piece of crP
I would not recommend this front sight. I bought it even though it had negative reviews thinking river had problems resolved by now. Received defective sight you could turn post with your finger tips as if no detent. Attempted to call optics planet customer service with no luck called ruger and lady at customer service said she never heard of anything like that since its bought the defective sight from third party try to get them to take care of it. If that didn't work they would try to help of I mail it to them. The bottom line is don't waste your money or time buy Magpul.or other quality part not this piece of crp.

Nedded front sight
Works well. Wanted flip up sights on a buget .223 pistol I was building. I have a rear one and wanted the matched set. Works as it should. Once sighted in (with the back one) has not moved. Noticed no walking or movement after firing and flipping up and down a few times.

Front sight isn’t worth it
I have a AR556 from Ruger so thought I would buy a front Ruger sight and it looks really good and functions just like the back sight. I chose this over magpul because it was cheaper and preferred the way it looked personally and on the rifle looks even better
