I’m very happy with my purchase but shipping could’ve been a whole lot faster. I can’t wait to use this on my gun and get it installed to enjoy my rifle that much better.

Just what I needed. Didn't mean to order the muzzle break vs the flash hider style but that's my fault.

The brake itself is fine. The quality and finish are fantastic. I'm taking away one star because the shim kit is completely useless. Because this is a suppressor mount brake, it needs to be shimmed instead of using a crush washer, but the shims that come with the brake only come with 3 different size shims for which the smallest adjustable angle is 30 degrees. So basically if your barrel threading isn't timed exactly correctly, you can't get the brake timed correctly (my barrel threading made it so my options were either 5-10 degrees too far past the correct timing or 20-25 degrees short of the correct timing). Additionally, even if you are able to get the shims to time the brake correctly, the outside diameter of the shims is so much wider than the brake that you can't get an armorer's wrench onto the brake to give it the last little bit of torque needed because the shelf on the brake for the armorer's wrench is so short.
Now I am left to buy a different shim kit before I can correctly install the brake. More money and more time waiting. I have never had this issue with my Lantac Keymo mount brakes.

Well if you want to upgrade to the break from the flash hider for the rugged cans this is a very nice upgrade and with no noticeable difference when suppressed and very noticeable blast change and recoil reduction when unsuppressed I would highly recommend it. I am using it on a 8” 7.62x39 ar pistol and it’s no longer a fire breather

I wanted a good muzzle brake to go with my silencer. The Rugged Razor Muzzle Brake was the perfect match for my Rugged Razor Suppressor. Wish I had done this years ago. The quality and price are the best.
Best Used for:
- Long distance shooters with high velocity rounds

Ive got two 308s ones a sbr and the other a DPMS oracle. They both have basically no kick and a joy to shoot. Had some folks shoot it who were afraid of guns and they loved it.
The sbr is my backpacking gun here in AK and i have no problem getting back on target at the range esp with little to no movement. The blast next to me is disorientating for others but oh well. Im the one shooting the charging bear so doesn’t bother me. Id say the most difficult part is getting it on straight, but less than an hour and some lock tight your good to roll the next day. Also, good break either way if you get a can or not.
Pros:
- easy to assemble
- game changer
Cons:
- Pain in the rear end to install

good quality for its purpose. I thought it was threaded for a suppressor attachment because of the outer threads for 5/8 x 24, but no, threads do not measure for 5/8x24. I tried to screw my suppressor on the brake but it did not fit. I made a small scratch on the surface and do not think I will be able to send it back. I was told to try by the representative I spoke to on the phone (very nice). It was my fault for not calling in regards to the brakes purpose.
Cons:
- no measurement given for outside tread
