Having purchased two of these holsters about a year apart and dealing with the manufacture the first time, I was reluctant to order a second. I was hoping the first holsters issues were a fluke, sadly they were not.
February, 2015, I purchased my first Safariland holster. Upon receiving the holster and testing the fit to the firearm I found the holster to be binding on multiple places on the firearm and light and generally a overly tight fit. Thinking Safariland was a reputable company I attempted to go through the warranty process. This was a mistake. Besides taking about a month of back and forth conversations, I was basically told that the holster I was sent according to Safariland was manufactured in 2001. Safariland at this point refused to honor their warranty from date of purchase and simply instructed me to stretch the holster by spraying the inside of the holster with lubricant and placing the firearm in a thick plastic bag and inserting it into the holster, I still have not done this.
