Most Helpful Negative Review Safariland Locking Fork 19 for QLS
Size is 4"L X 3"W and receiver plate is a little larger. When all assembled, the system works pretty good. Good for multiple applications with the same holster. My only complaint is the instructions. The instructions are for the Molle Locking System (MLS) but this fork is for the Quick Locking System (QLS). The Instructions do not cover the QLS assembly and some parts are not even identified, yet alone their use. Safariland website was no help either but it managed to get it put together without a lot of problems. Safariland is a top product but kind of failed on the Instruction portion of thi...

Safariland Quality

Usual Safariland great quality. I use the QD QLS system on many different holsters to be able to interchange on the same belt and belt loop. These fork adapters fit on the holster and easily slide in your the portion mounted on the loop, and securely lock in place until wanting to disconnect.

Works as intended

Locks in securely. I run the QLS system semi-permanent on my holster rig. I wanted the freedom of switching firearms but mag carriers would need to be changed as well so I’m leaving it as is. Until I move to the ELS system anyway. Because it’s semi-permanent, I put some O rings on the QLS 19 hooks after snapping in to take care of the 3/32” of jiggle left in my draw.
The QLS is burly and I’m sure it’ll outlast me. Came with all the necessary hardware but I’ve added spacers (longer screws) to improve the angle of my draw.

Perfect fit

by Jason247, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 20, 2023
Safariland QLS fork. Works as advertised. The only issue for me was that the hardware included with the fork didn’t include the locking nuts. Since I was attaching this fork to a non-safariland holster I had to use the existing hardware from the holster with a washer to keep the fork attached. Not a big issue but it would have been nice to use the safariland bolts as they fit the fork best.

Fantastic piece of kit!!!! 5 STARS!

I use these QLS forks on ALL of my holsters! They allow me to quickly, easily, and securely swap holsters, and attach them to my battle belt, that has the female (receiver) plate, for the QLS fork. I can attach almost any holster, in seconds, by squeezing 2 tabs, pulling up, and pushing the new one in and down!
Pros:
  • Quick change of any holsters!!!!
Cons:
  • None

The QLS / ELS systems can co-operate

by Brian Coon, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on July 7, 2018
This review covers the QLS 6004-19 Fork. The QLS System is excellent for holding pistol holsters or drop leg attachments to the ELS belt. I did make a kydex adapter to attach the QLS 6004-22 Receiver to the ELS belt and also attached a QLS Receiver to my gun cart. The QLS 6004-19 Fork is attached to my Safariland 6379 holster. At a 3G match I remove my pistol while it REMAINS in the holster and then snap it into my cart greatly reducing the load on my belt and fatigue on the day while adhearing to safety rules.
Pros:
  • Modularity
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • 3gun

Works great.

by Wilson Mylum, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on November 7, 2017
This is an excellent option for mounting your holster. When paired with the corresponding attachment you can securely and safely hang pretty much anything you want. Just need to be able to screw the fork to whatever needs attaching. The fork locks up tight with zero wobble and a very robust click. It stays put through vigorous activity but, is still easy to unlock when needed.
