These rings / bases are perfect. My research led to options from Leupold and Talley - I'm glad I went the Optilock route. I am repeating 3-shot groups into 1 hole with my '66 vintage Forester .243 85 gr. Sierra. Beautiful Leupold 20X is locked down forever.

Sako Optilock Base

This base and rings fit my Sako Bavarian perfectly. Easy to install and rings did not scratch scope tube. After numerous trips to the range scope mounts are very solid and hold zero. I would highly recommend.

SAKO OPTILOCK BASE

I have been a Sako user for years and I have used every type of scope mount out there.I prefer the Optilock because it has the plastic insert and it will not mark your scope. The other plus is that the alignment doesn't have to be perfect.

Excellent rings purpose made for specific rifle.

I have several Sako 85 rifles. They are furnished with a rail system for scope mounting. The Optilockrings and bases were designed specific for the rifle. Not a one size fits all solution.

The fit and finish is excellent. They also have a ring liner to prevent the scope tube from bending and the finish maring. and it keeps the scope properly aligned. No more lapping.

You can take the Optilocks off to use your sights and they go right back to zero. These are excellent. They are expensive but worth every penny to me. By the way I have tried other mounts on Sako's but these work much better.

Sako Optilock rings and base

These are my fourth set of Sako mounts. I installed these on a Sako Finnlight and they consistently deliver solid results. Easy to install and less prone to damage your optics. While a bit more expensive than other options, why skimp on mounts when you are putting an expensive scope on your expensive gun?

Work perfectly

The stainless steel bases are a perfect match for my Sako 85 Varmint stainless laminated .308. Buying the separate bases and rings allows me to mix and match, i.e. stainless bases to match the receiver and barrel and black to match the scope, which suits me. Very solid bases that don't mar the Sako tapered dovetails. Not the cheapest option but arguably the best and I've just bought a Sako rifle which wasn't cheap either.

Sako Optilock Base

Your choice of rings and bases for your Sako is limited. You might as well go with the best. The Sako receiver and the associated Optilock bases and rings are as good a system as you will find for mounting your scope. A little more expensive, but then again, you just bought a Sako!

Sako rings and based

I use Leupold products almost exclusively. But for Sako actions no other system works like these. The Leupold system works okay but not like the Sako. They are more expensive but save money and buy the Sako product up front. They are easy install and hold like a rock. Look good too

Can't go rong with Optilock.Very easy to install, makes for a very solid scope mount.Should hold a zero for the heavy kicking magnums out there.Optics planet has been great to deal with, and ships out very fast.What's not to like.

Just bought this base and set of Rings, for my Sako 85 Stainless Varmint. They look good and keep the scope in the same spot. Would recommend even though they are a bit pricey. Great service from Optics Planet
