Worth every penny.
What justifies spending over $400 for a bipod, especially when the rifle has an accessory rail underneath the forend? The answer is fundamental. In order to reliably hit the target (any target) the shooter must deal with recoil in a consistent manner. Designing a bipod where the axis of the bore is ...

Waste of money
One leg of the bi-pod collapses under the weight of the rifle! Don't waste your money. Even a Harris bi-pod would be better. I can not believe I spent this much money on a bi-pod only to find out it doesn't work! What a joke. I have owned rifles that cost less than this and they work!
Something To Think About
Hands down this bipod would be perfect for the tactical shooter which most of us are not.
NOT having the locking Cant Lever you must check the level and make corrections before taking your next shot. Bipods with Cant levers you level up your rifle one time and your generally good until you change your position. Your eye never leaves the scope increasing your odds for better groups. Also due to the size and large feet I carry the bipod in a seperate pouch on my rifle bag and assemble it after unpacking.

TRG Bipod for Sako TRG22
This really worked great. It grips the surface and it loads really well. I was able to control the TRG using it. Is heavy but to me that’s great. The gun barely jumped when the bipod was loaded. The legs were a little stiff to unfold, but I feel this can be worked out. TRG22 in 6.5 is one awesome gun.Great Bipod!

The right bipod for your TRG
As expected, Sako quality in fit and function.
Best price I have seen in some years so I went for it and am not disappointed.
Solid and designed to mesh perfectly with your Sako.
As always, fast and free (this time) shipping from Optics Planet.
Took a star off due to the insane price Sako puts on this puppy.

Pricey but perfect fit for a TRG
I bought this for a Sako TRG 22 in .308. The bipod slips on to a TRG in seconds and the design makes for good stability of the rifle due to the low center of gravity, which makes it a superior solution to a bipod attached to the sling stud or a picatinny. The feet are good for use prone on dirt or grass but aren't suitable for concrete benchrests and no other feet are available. One solution is put a soft piece of rug or carpet under the feet that can slide back on the concrete with the recoil, rather than jumping. Rubber feet can be improvised, albeit inelegantly, from rubber sanding blocks or amplifier rubber feet and attached with zip ties. Others have advised it is better to remove the bipod when not in use, as it can cause scratches to the stock or barrel, depending on which way it is mounted. So that's what I do. Anyway I don't have room in the safe for attached bipods, so no problem. Despite its high price and lack of feet options for which I deduct one star, I love the bipod for its 'low slung' stability and the way it clicks on and off the rifle with no fiddling about.

Mr mr the mister
Great product that is made for my rifle. They priced matched from another site, which was awesome!! I saved $40. If you have a Sako TRG then this is a good fit for your rifle. Make sure to look around for the best price and then have them price match for you.
