Need some further develement.
Make sure the threads on your barrel [installed in the slide] go all the way down the barrel to the very front of the slide or this thing cannot be installed properly. My threaded barrel is at a gunsmiths being threaded further. My 9mm Shield will look fantastic with this thing installed. Tooooooooo...

Poor threads

Like how comp doesn't tighten on barrel but tightens on barrel sleeve.

Very disappointed
This is a great looking compensator for a Shield/Shield Plus, and the mounting setup is also praiseworthy. I really wanted to like this. But the one I received was defective as the inside threads on the "thread protector" portion were poorly machined and it would not go on my SilencerCo Shield barrel. My barrel is not the problem, the threads on the Sampson comp were visibly defective. It looks like other people received good ones, and I just got a bad apple. But I'll move on and try a different brand - basic quality control fails on something is straightforward are a no-go for me.

Amazing compensator
This comp works flawlessly and very noticeably reduces felt recoil. People say they can't notice much of a difference if at all but it was blatantly obvious to both my girlfriend and I. The manufacturer recommends 124 gr or heavier bullets to cycle, however I have put a couple hundred rounds of cheap bass pro 115 grain training ammo and had zero issues. The ability to quickly remove and attach the compensator is very handy as well.

Samson compensator
Have not got to try this Samson compensator yet but instalation was very easy! A beginner should not fear instalation.. I can already see when I put it to the test I will not be disappointed.. one thing I wish is that the lines matched the slide a Little better, installed on m p shield 1.0!!

M&P Compensator
I bought this for my M&P 2.0 9mm Compact Bull Shark Gray pistol. It looks great and matches the slide perfectly. It was relatively easy to mount in line up. I can't wait to take it out and see how it performs.

Pocket compensator
10/10 highly recommended for any firearm carrier out there, The pocket compensator is very reliable and also portable it does not have any cons in my opinion. My Smith & Wesson suits better with the muzzle break from Opticsplanet.com for anyone that is questioning if it is worth it or not it is 100% worth it

great all around! would recommend to my friends and family, makes my shield shoot flat and will also fit the older and newer generations (ie) the shield 2.0 and the plus. best to take it to a gun smith as it can be difficult not to strip the nut within the comp

Great looking compensator
It looks really good. Material and design are very good. Looks very quality. It fits perfect. And once secured and lock tight it stays in place. The MP 9 shield shoots better now, less snappy and seems to follow back in target faster and easier. Overall satisfied with this purchase

Gets The Job Done
I haven't had much experience with compensator. But the difference in recoil has tremendously reduced & my follow up shot is much quicker. The install was quick & easy. This is my first time using and installing and the process was simple as could be
