Most Helpful Positive Review Great Drop In Rail
This is a great option for anyone looking for a drop in rail for their AR 15. This rail is lightweight and of very high quality. This rail does not come with QD attachments. I would definitely recommend Samson products after making this purchase.

Handguard is OK. I didn’t have it fully seated in the delta ring which was throwing the poi off so much. Still wish it had been designed with locking screws however. It wiggles so I wouldn’t mount an aiming device like a laser on it.

wiggles - does not have clamping screws

I bought this for the m203 compatible rail notches on the first and last rail slots to fit Knights Armament rail covers for a MK18 mod 0 clone build. Although nicely machined and finished, unfortunately the designers cut corners by not clamping the upper and lower halves with screws. As a result the handguard is not tight and wiggles between the delta ring and end cap. In addition the two halves exert unequal pressure on the barrel which pushed the barrel to the left requiring me to adjust my fixed rear sight all the way left to its mechanical limit to achieve zero. (With a drop in quad rail with clamping screws the sight’s mechanical
zero was pretty much dead on for poa/poi). Because this handguard wiggles it turned a 4 moa gun into a 10 moa gun. Not good. So switching back to my prior drop in handguard that clamps down solidly.

Mounted on my Stagarms NY compliant AR 15

Mounted perfectly on my rifle, mounted my light and bipod works perfectly. They want 200 characters in this review so what more can I say about a machined piece of aluminum other than it does what it is suppose to do.
