HKPDW....fits perfectly on PTR MP5 clone
Just received my SB Tactical HKPDW brace today.I was easy to install and worked perfectly on my PTR 9CT. The brackets fit perfectly on the gun and did not sctatch my gun in any way. SB tactical is a great company and they do listen to their customers. The HKPDW brace used to have large protruding allen screws that conflict with SP5 sear block, now the screw heads are low profile and do not need to be ground down or removed to fit. Mix feelings
I like SB tactical, have another brace works great. This one though, was incredibly tight to get fitted and I can’t tell if the track for the brace is a little messed up because sometimes it wants to lock into the first position and other times skips right over it.

Does not fit PTR 9KT
I really love the love of this particular brace, however it doesn’t fit my weapon. PTR 9kt have 2 retaining pins instead of one so the brace will not slide on the end of the receiver. I mean if you REALLY wanted to make it fit you could probably shave off some material using a dremel to get it to fit. But for $260 I wouldn’t want to do that much extra work. The brace itself is well made and sturdy. Just not got for PTR 9k models

Meh it could be better
The Look is great on the pistol, but i had to get some metal taken off the butt plate to get it to fit mind u i have a PTR 9 but they are pretty close to identical to the H&K. Also another position or two in the adjustment would be nice.

Drawback of the design
I found this to be a quality brace made of solid components. However, when extended, the steel rods act as a tuning fork every time I fire the mp5. My ear (ear protection worn) is right next to the extension rods when aiming down the sights and I’m hearing this metallic ZING when I’m firing. Maybe it’s just me but it is bothersome. Also, the brace is a little wobbly when fully extended. Not much, but enough.
