solid, subtle bolt catch

Not obnoxiously large but not too small. The photos don't do the raised bottom bolt hold open justice. It's much easier to manipulate since it sticks out further than the paddle, even with gloves. Solves my biggest gripe with the ar-15 bolt hold open being trickier to use with thicker gloves. Ambi mag releases are still easy to operate. The build quality is great, have had no fitment issues. Price isn't unreasonable given end user value. Just barely fits the BRN upper receiver notch. Plus, dimples are cute. Recommend seekins mag catch to compliment.

Almost perfect

Rhis is a high quality product, well made. Needed something tougher than mil-spec for my 9mm build and this does it. I wish the etching on the fingerpad was more pronounced, it looks "soft" compared to the other knurlings on the build.

Smooth and functional

Smooth black finish that blends well with most of the lowers I’ve built. No rough edges or gritty phosphate finish. Larger than mil spec paddle that makes it easy for bolt release. These also fit great when using a VLTOR upper receiver since they blend well when mating the upper and lower with the opening in that specific upper.

Great product. Fit and finish are great and overall feel is great. Would definitely buy again for any future builds. A little on the shiny side and wish it were a little more subdued but overall A++++

Simple and effective upgrade

I've always thought a standard mil-spec bolt catch was a little on the small side, my pads don't 'slap' it well and have to search for the release. Not so with this one; ample surface to for a positive slap even if moving quickly. The actual catch part is also raised and knurled and very easy to lock bolt back. Only criticism is that the texturing could use to be a bit more aggressive. Good buy would recommend.

HOLDS TIGHT

Other bolt catches I have ordered have a rounded edge and would not catch or release. Seekins has a true flat edge which means my bolt catch stays in place properly. Very happy with product and price.

Seekins Precision creates innovative pieces and products. Cool design. Nice fit and finish. I intend to I use these on all my rifles. This has a great price point and provides a feel that most milspec bolt catches lack. This should be standard in all lower parts kits

Has a nice very large surface area with a nice diamond texture which makes dropping the bcg after reloads super easy and ergonomic. Very easy to install, pretty straightforward. I'm pleased with my purchase and for the price it's very hard to beat.

Design Changed

I use these on all my rifles. However, apparently Seekins changed their design because the product number on the packaging and what is lusted on the website matches but the product is different than shown. The one I recieved is oval and not square like the one in the picture (and my others that I've purchased before). I'm sure it will function just as well as the rest, just annoying that the picture is not an accurate representation of the product.
