Great Adjustable Gas Block

I've used these on three builds and they have always worked great for me. I would suggest getting the rifle tuned prior to putting a handguard on as sometimes the set screw doesn't line up properly with different brands handguard holes. Much like any other adjustable gas block they become fairly non-adjustable after they get caked with carbine. Point of this is being able to tune the rifle when you build it not necessarily adjust it for the life of the rifle.

Adjustment Screw Backs Out Every Outingq

Every single time I take this AR out, the adjustment screw backs out because the set screw backs out. No matter how much I tighten that set screw... it backs out. 100% of the time I take this rifle out. There is a reason some gas blocks have a second locking screw or have detents... and it is to prevent this. I bought this one because you can adjust it from the side, which makes more sense for most builds, especially suppressed builds. But I should not have to use threadlocker that will burn off anyway on these screws.

Great Low Pro Gas Block

I have used four of these low profile gas blocks from Seekins and have had zero issues after 1k plus rounds. Granted that is accumulatively on the round count, but through multiple calibers such as 5.56, 300BLK, and 6.5mm Grendel. All rifles have been run suppressed which is why I opted for an adjustable gas block. I paired the 5.56s and 300BLK with an H2 weight buffer and a Springco carbine blue spring and the 6.5mm Grendel with a H3 buffer and a JP tuned and polished carbine spring. All rifles took about 3-4 rounds to adjust. Once adjusted they piled brass as perfect as a rifle can and I was getting much less gas in the face as I had with other rifles that had fixed gas blocks.

Used a couple KAWs previously, I just tried this one for cmparison. It works as well as the KAW. KAWs don't use the pin to secure the gas tube a set screw makes it easier to install. KAW's easier and cheaper same usability as this one.

Doesnt fit PA15 handguards

Excellent and well built piece but won’t fit slimline hand guards. Trying to locate a compatible handguard has been slow . Probably will change my review if I can find a handguard

Seekins Adjustable Gas Block

Good product and craftmsnship, fit under my rail, and it can be adjusted without taking the rail off. Does not interfere with my muzzle device on the 6-inch barrel I am running.

Low pro adj gas block…
