The SGM Tactical Glock 17 Compatible Match Barrel is a perfect drop it fit for my G17. The finish is excellent and I have not had any feed or extraction issues in the first 500 rounds. Great product and price from Optics Planet.

Poor threading of barrel

My barrel arrived today.I tried 7 different thread protectors including some from other 1/2 x 28 barrels. None of them would go on over 3-4 threads. Looking at the threads there appears to be little chips on the threads. I did manage to run a thread protector all the way down and did several others too. I then tried them on other barrels and there appears to me there is no damage. Looks like I need to purchase a 1/2 x 28 die.

This is a great item how ever with my compensator it did not go so good. It would jam like every 3 shots but when I take it off it runs smoothly. Just ordered a trybe defense barrel for my Glock 21 will be trying it soon

Fast shipping and it looks great. The one thing that bugged me is it doesn't come with a screw on thread protector.... Will update more once build is complete I love it on my Glock 17 tho it looks great and feels even better I would be buying more in the future

I cannot get the gun to eject. Cases stick in chamber. Have used valve-grinding compound to loosen the grip on the casing. Slips easily into chamber unfired, but won't cycle after firing. Have compared to barrels from functional 17s and the grip in the chamber appears to be the difference. Hate from the gitg0to put more money into gunsmithing as the project was meant to avoid those costs.

This does not fit the fifth generation Glock 17

This does not fit the fifth generation Glock 17. The website clearly says that it will but I’m the second person to tell you that it will not. I wish I had read the other reviewer’s comments before I ordered. I’m sure it’s a great item it just doesn’t work for the set up.

Accurate, amazing wonderful results. I would highly recommend this to anyone. And for the price it's a bargain. I would buy it again. 5 out of 5. Amazing barrel. Amazing just amazing. 10 out of 10 i love it. Competitive shooting, home defense is a must for this type of top quality high barrel. I love it.

G17 theaded barrel

I got a glock 17 gen 4 in a trade. I have always been a sig sauer guy. I took it to the range and liked it. Bought this barrel because of the price and it is worth it plus some. It allowed me to put a muzzle brake on it.
