Most Helpful Positive Review Shadow Systems Elite Trigger
EXCELLENT Trigger. The shoe feels great, flat faced with no contours that are uncomfortable like the stock glock triggers. The only trigger shoe that I have felt (I have felt many) that even compares is the Agency Arms. Trevor, the guy who rated it one star, mentioned the trigger being gritty.... th...

So I when into the purchase of this trigger as a guinea pig since there's been no reviews really on the trigger itself but so far what I can say is the installation is just as easy as any other trigger but the trigger itself feels worse than a oem Glock trigger. It feels very tight it feels very gri...

Total waste of material!

This is probably the worst trigger I have ever shot. I feel that the factory trigger is a better option over this. The trigger safety does not work as it is supposed to.......while at the range, the trigger, more than one time, stuck to the rear and had to be manually/forcefully pushed forward. Luckily, being the kind of guy who has multiple parts always on hand, this trigger was replaced with a stock trigger while at the range.
Now let’s this if this was a true “life or death” situation.....I wouldn’t be writing this.
Needless to say, I am 100% unsatisfied with this product.
The guy on the Shadow Systems website said he had to file his frame to make this work. This to me is wrong. As a drop-in trigger, this should not happen.
So Shadow Systems, what happened to research and development, quality control and quality assurance?
Needless to say, I will not recommend your product to anyone.
Pros:
  • Nothing good about it.
Cons:
  • everything
  • Horrible fitting
Best Used for:
  • paper weight
  • trash bins

Nice trigger with some work.

I bought a slide completion kit with this trigger for my missus. She’s not a competitive shooter like me, but she loves my flat faced triggers. I decided to give it a shot, it’s the “shadow systems frame completion kit for Glock 19. There’s good and there’s bad, and I’ll give my $0.02... the good: after putting this in a P80 Not-a-Glock 19, it looks great and feels good to use. I paired it with a Ghost 3.5lb trigger system and it’s flawless, after I worked out the bad. The bad: right out of the box the trigger is gritty, and while polished, that’s no fun. So I blew it out with some compressed air at 150psi and little chunks of whatever (I’m assuming sand from the pre-anodizing process) flew out and now it’s soft with a consistent pull. The trigger group itself is flawed, and you’ll see just by looking at it that it won’t even accept a slide because it’ll get caught on the rear cover of a Glock slide. I had to sand mine down with a Dremel, which I don’t find reliable. I’ll be buying a lone wolf group and pairing it with this trigger. Other than that, with just a little air and some sanding it’s a really nice trigger for the price.
Pros:
  • Polished, smooth after being blown out, light when paired with ghost 3.5lb kit
Cons:
  • Needs work to be as good as it should be out of the box
Best Used for:
  • Carry, range.

Best flat faced trigger at this price point!

by TN gunner, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on August 11, 2018
Let me start with saying that I haven't tested every Glock trigger under the sky only just a couple. However I have been through just about every trigger connector available so your end results may very... also I am also not a "certified Glock armorer". However if you are like me and disassemble your Glock enough to understand the components then you will know your Glock and how it's components work. So! With that said this is trigger shoe is optimized and designed perfectly! EVERY internal safety is intact. Takeup is minimized to the fullest SAFE potential. At complete rest the the safety plunger depressor hovers millimeters away from the plunger. If you squeeze the trigger without touching the trigger shoe safety, it just baaarely touches the plunger. No where near enough to deactivate the plunger safety and allow the striker to trip. Now when you consciencly intend to shoot and begin to pull the trigger, the takeup feels absolutely nonexistent. The "takeup" felt is the complete the deactivation of the safety plunger. After that, hitting the "wall" and breaking your shot will be completely dependant on your spring set-up and trigger connector. As for me I use the ghost Evo Elite connector, 6lb return spring,& lighter pluger spring only. Those three items plus a polished trigger bar give me the perfect "rolling break" for my taste.. This trigger DOES NOT affect pull weight. Only feel and boy oh boy is it smooth and finger pad fatigue free.. it is well worth it for the price ...
