The slide I received was used, and actually had parts installed. There was was also slide wear demonstrating that that the slide had been assembled and fired. I attempted to return the slide but after several calls and emails, I did not have a clear resolution to the issue. Ultimately, I ended up keeping the slide. I removed the installed parts as the extractor pin had been visibly installed incorrectly such that the optic plate was canted at an angle. The slide itself is well crafted with a nice finish. Once I reinstalled the slide parts from a new slide parts kit, the slide functioned well. I'm irritated that I paid for a new slide and received a used slide. However, the slide itself is of good quality and functions well.
