Nice hand guard from Sharps Bros.
I used this on a nice billet AR pistol in 300blk. Excellent quality, machining, and finish. Perfect length for my silencer, leaves a very small gap between the end of the handguard and the silencer. I’d definitely buy another one.

Good looking, wish they had crows foot to install nut , other than that works great.Would have gave it a 10 if crows foot wrench was included had to wait another two weeks to complete assembly couldn’t find size to fit nut, finally did

Very well built
This goes prefect with a sharps upper. I used this on my upper with a jack lower and it looks great. This also feels very light. This handguard is just short enough to use on a pistol build with a 10.5 inch barrel with a sure fire muzzle brake to allow access to there lease device on the suppressers

First Build
Got my sharps M- Lok 15in today !! Yeah it's Finaly getting down to the nitty grtty. Length is perfect for my anderson 20in barrel !! The color is also a perfect match for the matching sharps upper!! No sharp edges sleek and clean !! With plenty of M-Lok spaces for all the extras you would want to add on . The barrel nut is nice and shine ! The theading is very well cut , goes on smoothly, nothing catching or sticking , the locking Allen screws hold tight . The only small ? I have is the anti-rotation tab is small ?? Would hope maybe sharps could look at and development a better system than a little tab ?? That was the only reason I didn't give it a 5star ! Looks great feels soild in hand no bounce, no give , can't wait for the final assembly and fisrt shot !! Tnx to all at optics planet for thier help !!

Slim and Trim
I purchased this to complete a 450 Bushmaster build and it worked very good. I would recommend using a low pro gas block with this as the adjustable gas block is a little tight. The barrel nut is steel and does not require to be indexed to the gas port. The rail feels very nice! It is as slim as one could possibly want and there are no rough edges. It may be missing a few bells and whistles but for the price you are getting a quality piece.

limited top rail space
Good rail. Had to be creative with my accessories above the bore. Aero has a similar rail, but a little more top space to mount light and front sight. I would order again, but wish they altered it just a little more

So two weeks ago I posted "Didn't fit over my gas tube"
I went on about how the Wilson Combat said their "Bullet Proof Adjustable Lo-Profile Gas Block, 0.875 ITEM # TR-AGB875-R" would fit with any MILSPEC hand guard. I spoke to them over the phone when I ran into this issue. They said with authority it would fit... So I returned the two hand guards I purchased here and replaced them with a Wilson Combat one. Still didn't fit to my standards. Free float means no contact. They didn't seem surprised that they didn't fit when I called them back.
If you are putting together a normal gas block these hand guards will fit fine.

Didn't fit over my gas tube
I bought two (2) of the 13.7 inch for putting over a Wilson Combat 20" Wylde with a 0.875 Adj Gas Block. Wilson Combat Gas Block TR-AGB875-R. THe handguard initially fit over the gas block but as it came into contact with the barrel nut the handguard hung up on the gas block. Almost as if the handguard tapered down in ID. Very strange. Optics Planet made it quite easy to return. NOTE: the gas block I am using is a bit larger in diameter than "regular" barrel diameters. I spoke with Wilson Combat and they said if it was Mill Spec it should have fit.
