I own somewhere around 13-15 BCG’s. Some very expensive and others not so much. This is my second BCG from Sharps Rifle and the XPB line. I will say that the gas rings lock the bolt up tight and needs a little bit of time to break in if you have a gas system that is a little anemic or gas port. I use these in SPR’s that have 18” premium series BA fluted barrels that have .093 gas ports. The speck on your typical MK12 is .998 to .101 (or very very close without looking at crane chart. I actually had to open up the gas port on these barrels to .098 and the bolt runs excellent. Ejection is at 3’oclock with grain 77 OTM. Going to a heavier buffer to get a hair closer to 4’oclock. When you get into these rifles, the timing is everything and needs some tinkering. The blast are very smooth and the finish is very nice. I think for the money, it’s a great value. I have other nickel boron BCG’s from Spikes, Tool Craft, WMD, as well as DD and BCM. My preferred bolt is the Sharps but time will tell. My first SRC purchased in 2023 has held up very well and gets a lot of rounds through it.

Finally put this in one of my ar’s to give it a shot at the range, I had a lot of issues with the gun once dropping this bcg in. The worst part of it was the shell casings just dribbling out of the ejection port. I swapped a few buffers into the ar with no change. Didn’t matter if it was suppressed or unsupressed, I still had the same issues. The coating on this bcg is awesome. That’s about the only positive thing about it.

Nib x is soo smooth even without oil. Was delivered crazy fast 2 or 3 days. Will recommend

In use for 300blk. Hands the high pressure very well. The best part about these bolts are the balanced/widened tails they have that give it a smoother and faster reciprocation. The tapered ejector locks well with the barrel and strips the cartridges smoothly. Iv never had an issue with this purchase.
