The bolt did not work for it was not correctly manufactured. The ejector arm was not properly machined and thus did not allow the bolt to fully seat and lock into the breach. The bolt appears to otherwise be of good manufacturing. The bolt has been returned for replacement for I believe the bolt will be very good if correctly manufactured. I am a bit concerned that I have not been able to communicate with the manufacturer about the ejector problem for I would be content if they sent me a new ejector arm. I am also concerned that the company's QA inspection did not catch the flaw. I would give the part a higher rating if it had worked.

As mentioned in the other reviews, S7 tool steel has twice the tensile strength, but it also has far more impact strength. It's very unlikely you'll shear off any lugs on this thing. I have a Sharp's XPB bolt and carrier already, but snagged another bolt to put in a WDR titanium carrier. Light carriers move much faster, so having a bolt that can take more stress only makes sense to me. No problems with tolerances, passed headspace checks on a custom Black Hole barrel as well as a cheaper Faxon Gunner barrel. One thing you might consider is a extractor upgrade spring and o-ring kit from BCM, I'm pretty sure Sharp's only uses an o-ring, so the spring could help if you're out in very cold weather and have extraction issues.
Pros:
- reliability
- Tolerances
- S7 tool steel
Cons:
- possibly might need extractor spring upgrade

if you google ar15 bolts , most are made from carpenter 158 steel. which is a great steel. the tensile strength is 1103 MPA. this relia-bolt is made from S7 tool steel. rated strength at tensile 2025MPA. almost twice as strong. you could not afford the ammo it would take to wear out or break this bolt.
Best Used for:
- any gun you plan on shooting a lot.

I run a short gas system AR which gets exceedingly dirty after a few hundred rounds. The design of this bolt helps it lock in better, even when dirty ensuring reliability. Its top quality and should be the standard all bolts are based upon for a DI system. Few things have evolved for the AR platform over the years but this is a fantastic evolution. Highly recommended for all 223/556/300 blk platforms.
Pros:
- Better design than a standard bolt
Best Used for:
- Short barrel builds, personal defense
