Great performing, cool looking, replacement barrel for Ruger 10/22
Accurate out of the package. Sighted it in at the local range, and it was punching a dime sized hole in no time.
I used federal match bulk ammo and it worked flawlessly. Herter's brand ammo did not work on this barrel (bentz chamber).
Looks good on my son's rifle.
Price was excellent from Optics Planet!!!

Nice tight fit to the receiver without any filing or sanding.

Bang 4 the buck
This barrel is the best bang for the buck. You won’t break the bank by purchasing one of these barrels, and shows up in the accuracy when shooting.

Shaw Barrel
The wait was worth it. The barrel looks great. I haven’t sighted it in yet, but I have bore sighted it and shot a few rounds through it. The fluted non-threaded factory taper is exactly what I was looking for in my second build. Great look, quality and finish! Highly recommended!

Shaw bull at a great price
Optics planet had the best price around on these. I haven’t shot this one yet , but already have this same barrel. Don’t believe people telling you you’ve got to spend $2-300 more for a good barrel. Shaw is very underrated. Fast shipping too from OP ��

Good Looking, Accurate barrel with a fatal flaw.
Received the barrel well-packed. Finish was nice and it was very attractive. Installed in OEM Ruger receiver and headed to the range. Experienced tons of failures to feed; with rounds even becoming bent in the chamber. Some ammo was worse than others (CCI Standard Velocity was the worst). The breechface was covered with slivers of lead from the rounds. Never got more than 4 rounds to feed in a row with any of 3 kinds of ammo. re-installed factory barrel, and had no problems with feeding.
Upon inspection, the chamber had a sharp burr around the opening. I could have probably fixed it by kissing it with a chamfer, but for the price it should not require that. Returned and bought a Green Mountain, which feeds perfectly.

At this price point it is an excellent upgrade over the stock tapered barrel. Definitely improves groups.

Helical fluted bull barrel
I always wanted and stainless helical fluted bull barrel. So I broke down and got one. I’m very please with the looks of it. I am in the process of putting it together so I haven’t shot it yet. The quality looks as good as I have ever seen. Im excited about getting it together and im ready to shoot.
