Carrier has wide shoulder padding and belly straps that make sure it's snug, but not restrictive. Distributes weight well. Comfortable for hours of wear.

I had the Rampage which I loved. It was just ever so slightly too small. So I got the Banshee. Very adjustable. Very comfortable. Very happy.

So we all know the internet is full of purchase justification reviews. I refuse to do those as a real review of a product such as this should be based off of long term use and basically, abuse. I DO NOT want to ever have to review this plate carrier for its actual intended purpose of stopping rounds. What I will say initially about this carrier is that it is robustly built in all areas. The Velcro is stout, the nylon is very durable feeling and thick. I have two Guard Dog Ridgeback M4+ plates in this carrier and a couple of things really struck me when installing them. They fit absolutely perfectly. Plate goes in and you fold the nylon/Velcro holder around the bottom of the plate and secure it and it is as if they were lazer matched, both front and back. Secondarily once installed they are very secure and it is as if they are all the same piece. I also ordered a Shellback Tactical Triple Stacker open top magazine carrier (holds six 5.56 magazines) as well as a Shellback Tactical triple pistol mag carrier. All of this was super easy to put together. Although the plates are a touch over 7 pounds each the way the shoulder straps are made along with the plates being contoured make this actually very comfortable to wear. You really are not that aware of the weight. It certainly does not feel like you are carrying almost 20 pounds around, which I am sure fully kitted out it will exceed 20 pounds easily. So suffice it to say it is well constructed and seems to be built to take a bea...

Pros:
- Seems very durable, Distrubutes the weight very well, TOns of connection possibilities,
Cons:
- I have not found any yet personally, I have seen some compalin about the shoulder starps interferring with the shootnig posiiton, I will report back if this is an issue for me as well
Best Used for:
- Training and in the unfortunate event of needing it to, saving your life.

I had the Rampage but it was just slightly too small or I would have loved it. I think it's more for fast operators rather than grunts. The Banshee has way more adjustability so I could make it fit much easier. I'm 6ft 205. Lot's of pouches on the cummerbund and the built in hydration pouch make it very nice.

My first plate carrier so i thought id spend a little more but am disappointed, although the build quality is good and there are some nice features but there
are three negatives that i cant get used to.1, the shoulder buckles are right where you shoulder your rifle and make for a unsure rifle stock plant. 2, the cumberbund is made for people bigger than a size 34 waist, 3. Not in love with the shoulder strap pads but could get used to them, maybe if the shoulder strap buckles werent there the shoulder strap pads wouldnt be a issue but the setup is...clunky, not sure if im gonna keep it and try to fix the issues or get another brand

Shellback is a great plate carrier. It has many Molle webbing so you can place different pouches. The pouch that’s on the top middle torso is very convenient and can carry many items. Plate placement is easy to install and remove. The plate carrier is easy to adjust for any to most sizes. It is very durable and the padding on the shoulders are a great help in being comfortable.
Pros:
- Plate Placement
- Plate Carrier Vest as Advertised

I usually don’t do reviews but I’m extremely happy with this..The craftsmanship on this is excellent..yes it is expensive but you do get what you pay for..I’ve ordered a few plate carriers and me being on the heavier side it was a challenge to find a plate carrier that was comfortable..My only regret is that I didn’t get this one first.. it fits my level 4 RMA armament 10x12 plates like a glove ..in conclusion don’t let the price tag scare you like it did for me it was totally worth it and the build quality is there

The carrier is well made. If you are smaller you may have to remove the shoulder pads to allow adjustment in shoulders. Padding is good with airflow up the middle. Pretty comfortable for a plate carrier. Stitching is well done.
Pros:
- customizable configuration
Cons:
- Runs a little big for smaller people.

Excellent carrier but its absolutely massive and only 1 size. If you are anything under a 36 waist dont even think about it. Cummerbund tightened max with velcro overlap and its about 5 sizes to big. Do not trust the one size fits most advertisement. This is a great carrier, dont think it isnt, but if youre in anyway not fat or huge it wont work well.
Pros:
- good quality, options, and customer service from shellback
Cons:
- Doesnt fit any normal sized people and optics planets customer service is atrocious
