Quick and Easy for funning a supporessor
This barrel is identical in finish to the factory barrel that came with my pistol. It has the very smooth/slick anti-wear coating, and cycle's flawlessly. I do wish it came with a thread protector, but that is a fairly inexpensive add-on ($15ish). If anything I have notice a slight improvement in accuracy at long distances (25+ yards), though not much velocity gain (~30 FPS).
Sig barrel
It fits perfectly in my sig p220. The threads received the suppressor with no problem. I have had no failures with this barrel in the pistol. I use this barrel more than the stock one now. Here's 200 characters.

Sig 220 threaded barrel
I was looking for a threaded barrel for my Sig P220 .45 ACP. Optics Planet came through again with OEM Sig barrel for the best price around. Free two day shipping!!!! That deal could not be beat! Mine requires fitting
Barrel is very well made and fits in the slide very well. It’s seems that for some these are hit or miss if they are going to need fitting or not. On the bright side, after an email to Sig, they are paying to have it shipped to them and hand fitted to my gun and then paying to mail it back. They’ll also install my Sig suppressor sights while it’s there.

Perfect Fit
This P220 threaded barrel was a perfect fit for my full size Sig. You may notice some resistance at first but once the slide has been racked its smooth from there. Took to the range and put about 200 rounds through no problem. Can’t go wrong going through OP, they were way cheaper than Sig!!

P220 threaded barrel
I have 2 of these barrels, 1 for my P220 & 1 for my P227 Equinox, which uses the exact same barrel (this was verified with Sig Sauer customer service, it's the same part number for both). Only minor fitting was required, a few strokes with a mill b_astard (Optics planet's nanny filter is a bit too literal, here, it's the correct name of this tool) file on the rear lock up point of the barrel hood & it fit perfectly in both pistols. Accuracy has been excellent with absolutely zero feed or ejection issues. I would highly reccomend this barrel for both pistols.

SIG P220 replacement threaded barrel
I own an original P220 SAO with threaded bbl. I managed to shoot this barrel out in competition. I have used SIG OEM barrels in the past and always found them to be drop in ready without any loss in accuracy. That still holds true with this bbl. I dropped it in the day after I received it and took it to the range for break in. It shot perfectly and consistently. The action and operation was smooth and flawless. I totally recommend SIG OEM replacement barrels for your SIG product and Optics Planet for a great deal on all of your SIG needs.

Works as described! Good threads that make using my suppressor easy! It fits like a glove. Very good purchase, I will get another for my other sig guns. Next I need to get the raised sights to use with it.

Drop-in fit
This 45acp threaded barrel fit my P220 without the need for fitting. Being a Sig made barrel it functioned as expected, rounds loaded, fired and ejected without hang-ups. Recap: excellent barrel and fit, the price was good, cap included.

great barrel
Dropped this barrel in my new P220 Scorpion 45acp, fit like a glove. Shot it at the range , third shot was dead center of the Transtar target....all the rest followed. 25 yards!
