Protect Romeo 1
This device allows slide racking with the 1st generation Romeo 1, and protects both versions from drop damage. Easy to install and adds very little to the size profile. Does not interfere with any holster that allows the use of a red dot sight.
Upgrade and harden your Romeo1
Awesome addition to any Romeo 1 used for drills or carry. Protect your investment.

Romeo1 Protective Shroud
Easy to install. Fits the Romeo 1 profile without adding much bulk. My research indicated that the Romeo 1 is easily damaged, so you need a protective shroud. If it is in fact fragile, I would think one should come with the scope. If you have a Romeo you should probably get one.
Pros:
- Nice size. Sufficientlly
- I like the 30mm lens. Nice dot from dim to bright settings.
Cons:
- Windage and elevation adjustments don't click, at least I can't hear them.

Romeo Pro shroud
Great fit came with extra screws, if you have the pro you do not need them. Its actually an orignall part from Sig Sauer, stamped on the side.

Romeo 1 pro
Fit my Romeo 1 pro optic perfectly. Just keep in mind that the screws that come with the optic are the ones that need to be used to for the shroud as well. The ones that come with the shroud will continuously turn in the thread and might cause possible damage.

DON'T USE the screws that come with it for Romeo 1 Pro!!
Don't use the screws that come with shroud if mounting to Romeo 1pro. Use Pro screws per Sig. Trust me, time consuming mistake. Pro screws will work. New ones are $15 from Sig and out of stock. Screw diameter is smaller and will strip before torqued. Love the shroud have it on all Sigs. Better to beat up shroud then optic!!
Pros:
- Rather beat up shroud than optic
- Use it on all Sigs and Duty weapon
Cons:
- None

Romeo1 Shroud Kit
First this fits the Romeo one pro also, just use your original screws that your Romeo one pro is installed with.
Great protection for you dot.
As an instructor my dot got banged around a lot while teaching one handed racking, now I feel more at ease about using it against a
wall corner etc.

Romeo 1 Shroud
This shroud fit as expected on my Sig p320RX with no issues other than it does raised the red dot sight and intrude on the iron sight cowitness a little. It does not complete block the rear sight, and is still manageable. This is the only con that I have on the product. The brightness control cutout works well and I can still easily adjust my brightness settings.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Extra level of protection
Cons:
- Changes iron sight cowitness
Would recommend: Yes

Just What You Need
The Romeo1 Pro when purchased separately includes this protective shroud, but when included as part of a gun package like the P226 SAO Legion RXP,the steel shroud is absent.
What I like about this besides the extra protection it provides the red dot unit, is how the brightness buttons are effectively indented. So when racking the slide, it keeps those buttons from inadvertently being depressed and changing the brightness level of the red dot.
There is one downside compared to the shroud that comes with the separately purchased Romeo1 Pro. It doesn't include the plastic cover to protect the unit. Moreover, that part is, as of this writing, not even available separately from Sig Sauer. It's a major oversight; I'd really prefer to be able to fully protect my red dot window when I tuck my firearm in my range bag.

Nice upgrade to the Romeo 1
I have been running the Romeo 1 on my X5 for a couple of years now. It has held up great but has some dings on the hood. I saw that the shroud was on sale and ordered it right away. Install was easy using the new install screws. I adjusted the Romeo 1 down 4 clicks to make up to the thickness of the shroud. Went to the range and was spot on. Great upgrade to prolong the use of a great optic.
