purchased 4 of these red dots to replace burris red dots. on 3 .22 pistols and one .45 pistol used for bullseye target competation.

Underrated

I feel like sig sauers red dots are a little underrated, esp going up against names like vortex holosun eotech just to name a few. Straight from optics planet to my house, great packaging, nice and secured. Thought about getting the 2gen but I just love the way this 1st gen looks! The smooth finish and robust body. And personally I like the mount more than the 2gen. Will buy again!

I like the fact that you can use the taller of the 2 mount bases and be able to use mbus Magpul open sights through the red dot if the battery ever died not that likely but it’s good to be ready if it did, really like the sight seams to hold zero good on 556/300BO
