Most Helpful Positive Review Great scope for beginners
Like the other reviewer my Levelplex was off straight out of the box. Sig has a good warranty so I called them and they sent me a prepaid Fedex label and I dropped it off the same day. The next day they received it, fixed the Levelplex and shipped it back to me. The following day I received it and i...

Most Helpful Negative Review levelPlex way off.
out of the box the LevelPlex feature was way off. I started with a bubble level on the turret and turned on the scope and if i used the level indication inside the scope the level was way off. I then hung a plumb bob and checked the crosshairs on the string and looked even worse. Sent back to Sig...

Cool features, expected glass quality for the price range

by Allen, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on May 15, 2025
Neat idea and I must confess its not my first BDX scope. Okay, can't be used in my state on game (no "smart" scopes allowed) but I have this on a 17 HMR for varmints and another on a .223 for varmints as well. So far the link to the range finder has work but I haven't had the time to actually fire groups at varying distances. Figured I'd chronograph loads, run the ballistics, and try to shoot a small plate at distances from 50 to 300 (max for my range) yards to see how well it does. If it works well, the 17 should be a jack slayer.
Pros:
  • Neat features
  • Kind of fun tech
Cons:
  • Could find better glass for the $s without the eletronics
Best Used for:
  • Varmints and paper punching

Great option if you're willing to embrace the technology

by MAK, from NC, United States Written on December 28, 2022
Scopes with the new BDX systems are a great option for those willing to embrace and understand their capabilities. This is the second one I have purchased and I couldn't be more pleased. Low light functionality is exceptional and in my opinion and the bdx system works flawlessly within its limitations. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because I have only used this particular scope for one season and want to see how it holds up before giving it a 5. I have however been using sig optics for 4 years now and have been very satisfied. Their customer service is excellent. They definitely stand behind their products.

Best of the Best

by Eddie, from GA, United States Written on October 24, 2022
Sig Sauer has outdone themselves on this scope. Eliminates the guesswork of holdover which makes for a quicker shot when hunting.
If you are a long range shooting enthusiast this is the scope to buy. I have consistently been hitting targets from 500-700 yards with this.

Decent-ish

by Mario, from IL, United States Written on March 5, 2022
It does want it’s supposed to do and I was honestly surprised with the glass clarity. The reticle is thick and can cover the point of aim and it’s hefty. The system worked fine for me but it’s better to learn hold overs rather than relying on tech IMO. The main reason I got this was to boost my wife’s confidence and get her more interested in long-ish range shooting and it worked great for that.
Pros:
  • Works as intended
  • training newer shooters
Cons:
  • weight

Superb, awesome scope

by borvix, from GA, United States Written on April 20, 2020
I'm very impressed with BDX scopes. Very nice glass, can be used for zeroed distance without electronics, and the electronics are extremely fast, clear and easy to use,, most importantly they are very accurate.
The scope is premium quality, very solidly build and pleasure to hold and operate.
