Most Helpful Positive Review Almost Perfect
Bought this for my Sig 716 Patrol and finally got to take it to the range today. I did a quick 'on paper' check at 25 yards and then moved to the 100 yard range; 1st 4-round mag at 100 yards did not help my confidence (see photo) but I dialed 1 click left and 6 clicks up (scope adjustments are 1/2 M...

Most Helpful Negative Review Good scope....but....
The eye relief got shorter and shorter with changing the magnification. 1-4 was great, but as you went higher, you had to get closer to remove get a full view. Other then that, it was a good scope. "Was"? I sold it because I just couldn't get use to the lower eye relief at 8-10X.

This is a great scope...don't listen to the haters

by Rhamulos, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on March 7, 2026
If you are like me, I like to research items prior to purchase (especially more expensive items). What I found was a bunch of "gun snobs" on YouTube and other platforms usually trashing this product. It appears that most of the reviewing haters didn't receive a free scope from Sig to review.....boo hoo. However, I did find a few very positive reviews that I went with (and I'm glad I did). This scope has been on my wife's wishlist for years and we purchased it for her birthday. This scope is beautiful. The build on this scope is incredible. The only plastic pieces on it are the flip up lens covers. It mounted easily with the included mounting hardware. The glass is clear and clean from 1x to 10x. Some idiots reviewing this scope claimed you couldn't get clear threat identification at 1000 yards on 10x. Listen, for the average shooter, you are not going to identify and shoot a threat at 1000+ yards with an 5.56 AR-15. This scope has very very nice optics, crisp and clean. The reticule is fantastic and the illumination available is everything you need. This scope is also factory zeroed to 100 yards and was right on target out of the box. If you are looking for just an overall awesome scope at the right price, my wife and I highly recommend this product.
Pros:
  • Strong build quality
  • Glass and Field of view are great
  • Clear & Clean
  • Turret adjustment is excellent
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Target / protection

Sig MSR LVPO

by Jimihendrix, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on February 1, 2026
Installed on a short bolt gun for close to mid range. I have to say I own Leupold, vortex and many other good scopes and I was pleasantly surprised how clear this glass is. I will be purchasing more of these for this reason. One of the best eye reliefs and clearest glass I’ve had in a while.

Best LPVO in this price range and includes the mount

by JeremyP, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on January 31, 2026
The Tango MSR is one of the best 1-10 budget LPVOs. The glass is pretty darn good and very clear in all but the highest magnification range where it isn't as clear but still solid. This is common with ALL of the budget LPVOs out there and the Tango MSR is one of the better ones at max 10x magnification. The eye box is also excellent but does tighten up at 10x. Again, the Sig is still one of the better ones of the budget scopes out there. I like the reticle and it is pretty visible at the brightest setting in sunlight. It's not red dot bright but it works fine for the purpose.

The Tango MSR comes with a mount and it's actually a very good, solid mount and not some throw away. Another thing to point out is that it also comes with a throw lever to make changing the magnification quick and easy. The magnification adjustment ring is nice and firm and does take some effort, which I prefer so it isn't easily moved if bumped but easy enough to adjust when you need it to. I would have preferred capless turrets but it's not needed with a LPVO as the BDC reticle is what you want to make your holds. The scope has .5 MOA adjustment clicks. I would have preferred .25 MOA but it's fine for this type of scope and it's intended use.

The last thing I'll add here is that it also includes an excellent set of scope caps that fold flat against the scope. For the short money these things go for, Sig really did add some really nice add-ons to this scope... the mount, throw lever and scope caps are...

Large & heavy

by Large and in charge, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on January 30, 2026
Maybe I don't get out enough. If could have put eyes on this scope before purchase, I wouldn't have bought it. Heavy sucker too. Might be just the ticket for an AR10, but not for my application. Never owned a SIG scope. Good clarification. Just too heavy and almost obnoxiously large for what i had pictured from the site photos.
Pros:
  • MOUNT INCLUDED
  • Magnification lever
Cons:
  • Bulky
  • Heavy
  • Large
Best Used for:
  • Large frame AR

fish eyes effect

by fish, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on January 30, 2026
I have a griffin 1-0 and now a sig 1-10 and they both aren't clear. I don't think it's the build quality but rather 1-10 just don't seem to work. This sig 1-10 has a really bad fish eye effect. I also have their 1-6 and it's so much better than this. Save ur money and go with a 1-6 or 2-something.
