Good value and a pleasure to use! 1X illuminated can substitute for a Red Dot at close range and 4X or 6X or 8X or 10X can handle longer ranges. Clear instructions in owners manual too.

Works great, very satisfied. Installing it was a breeze (with the proper tools). Adjustment on the brightness is nice for my slight astigmatism. Throw lever is a bit stiff but I'm sure it'll break in a bit with more use

Sig Sauer Tango LPVO 1X8

Great LPVO, it's solid, great quality build. Easy to install, and holds zero. Fired over 200 rounds with it so far, no issues.

Pro's:
build quality
Clear glass
great zoom
price

Con's:
could use a better MOA indicator-turret
I found it a bit off after 100 yards. I don't intend to use it past 50 yards for practice, so for me, it's not an issue.
0 to 100 is dead on.
Pros:
  • Quality and Accuracy.
Cons:
  • MOA turret
Best Used for:
  • Practice, hunting.

Sig Sauer 1X8 LPVO

Very nice, with user-friendly settings, a lightweight design, and an excellent sight featuring a red illuminated dot.

Pros: retains settings, consistently accurate.
Cons: lacks zero hold/stop.

So far, I love it; it's easy to install on a Picatinny rail with torque settings for proper mounting.
Pros:
  • Design, eye relief, accurate.
Cons:
  • No zero stop, MOA a bit difficult to learn, no clear explanation on manual.
Best Used for:
  • precision shooting, easy target aquisition.

Great scope

Clear view makes it easy to access target. Zoom is excellent, that is, it's not too tight or too loose. Witness line down the length of the tube is a nice feature for aligning the optic with your gun. Diopter on the eyepiece brings the target into clear sight.

Great value, works exactly as advertised

I previously had a very good experience with the Tango 1-6 and wanted something with a little more magnification. The 1-8 is great, good glass, keeps zero, easy to mount and adjust. A very solid product for a great price. Highly recommend!
