Unmatched in the Glassing Game
I have 5 sets of binos, mostly Swaro, but the Sigs I own are absolutely delightful. These, specifically, are truly visionary (pun intended) relative to the hunting community. The quality of glass is good, the ergonomics are fantastic but the image-stabilization is the what will absolutely make the g...

Sending them back
I received my SigSauer Zulu 6 binoculars and it appeared that they had been previously used. Maybe. There was an extra foil label on the box covering one that had previously been cut. On the inside there was a label that said to remove a red disc under the battery door prior to first use, and that h...

Zulu 6 HDX 12x42
Great binos for glassing from a vehicle and kids who don’t have the patience to sit behind a tripod.

ZULU6 Image Stabilization works great
I use these binoculars for wildlife / bird watching. The Image Stabilization works great. 12X is perfect for me.

Zulu 6 game changer!
After hearing about these Binos on hunting podcasts and about their effectiveness glassing without a tripod, I decided to buy the 12 x 42 model for Oregon Blacktail hunting. I’m mainly a still hunter, so the 12 power seemed a little much, but the 10’s only have 30mm objectives, a little small for low light blacktail woods. The 12’s actually work great due to the image stabilization in shorter ranges. Being able to glass through the vine maples and underbrush without the shakiness is incredible! There are 2 settings: scan mode with mild stabilization and target mode with heavy stabilization. The target mode is like glassing with a tripod with quality ball head. The clarity is better than I expected, these are high quality lenses. I’m a Swarovski fan, my other Binos are SLC’s, the Sig’s are easily as clear. I highly recommend the Zulu’s.

Excellent for the Mobile Hunter
The Zulu6 binoculars are well made, lightweight and work excellent for the mobile hunter whether that is by vehicle or frequently glassing from location to location on hikes.

Love this Bino. Amazing clarity. Would highly recommend.

Game Changer
Great upgrade to any bino system. The two different levels of stabilization are nice, though I find I don’t often have to kick in the extra 50% stability of the target mode because the scan mode is that good. It’s nice that they are powered by a single AA battery as well. Surprised at how relatively lightweight they are. Overall, definitely happy with these especially at the sale price!

IG SAUER ZULU6 HDX OIS 12x42mm Image stabilized Binocular
I saw these at an archery event in early Aug 24. I tried them and was amazed at the clarity and STABILITY of what you look at. So when I got home i shopped around and found them on sale at Optic Planet. Immediately ordered and quickly received. they are great for bid watching (i watch humming birds around the house) as well.

Weight is right
Surprisingly lightweight for all the tech they packed in there.

Astounding
Purchased these for my wife to counter a hand tremor, but didn't tell her what they were or why they looked so strange. I had her sight something with IS off, and then had her turn them on. The look on her face after experiencing their rock-steadiness was worth every penny. I'm no aficionado, but spent some time looking for chromatic aberration or other faults, and could not find them. The first level IS (scanning) is all one needs most of the time, although second level (target) is even more steady. I set aside the individual eyepiece caps and put on a single cap assembly like those on our Nikon Monarchs - works great and can't get lost.
Pros:
- value
- Lightweight
- Waterproof and fog proof
- Stabilization
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Birding and Wildlife viewing

Great utility
Going into this purchase without having seen these in person, I expected the image stabilization to be excellent but the optics to be a bit lacking, given the features and price. Not so. The optics hold up well against similarly priced non-stabilized glass from Leupold, Vortex, etc. The glass obviously isn't in the same league as top-end Swaro or Leica stuff, but neither is anything else in this price range. As for the image stabilization: at this point, every other pair of binos we own just sits on the shelf. The OIS is incredibly useful, and allows you to glass effectively with your heart racing, breathing hard, standing - whatever, with no rest needed. No tripod, no sitting with your elbows on your knees, none of that. Really a huge time saver, and potentially a hunt saver. Battery life is great as well; mine are still on the single AA that came with them 4-ish months ago, under pretty regular use... probably should replace that, but I wanted to check the mileage on it.
