Ryan's Review of SIG SAUER ROMEO Zero Elite 1x24mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

This sight is an absolute piece of trash. I received the sight pre installed on my P365x. The first trip to the range the sight stopped working on the first mag and after replacing the battery the sight would flicker on and off before quoting entirely after a few minutes. Sent it to signal and received my same sight back after a month and I could barely get the sight to stay on by holding the battery with my fingers before installation. I gave it a shot and had the same problem. Called sig again very upset and has offered a different sight upon them receiving the broken sight. A month later I had the new sight and I was very happy at first. But a bad design and poor quality strikes again because after two months it was having the same problem. Hey again had to send site back to Sig and received the same broken sight back again. then, after testing my broken sight again, had to call Sigg and get them to exchange me for a new site for the second time. so for the first five months that had my brand new gun I was plagued with problems with the sight. After receiving my new replacement site for the second time, I demoted it to where the sight belongs, on a 22 pistol. I’ve been using it on the 22 pistol for about a year now haven’t had any problems with the sight going out. Just like another reviewer said zero is for zero trust and I wouldn’t want it on a concealed carry gun in which you trust with your life. As far as the actual site goes, the lens is ok but not the greatest outside and the brightness adjustment is a joke there’s no way your getting your finger in the back of the sight to push the button without a tool. Save your money and get a nicer optic for sure.
