Bought for .308. I have been using a kit with various calibers that insert in the muzzle. This is so much better. I used this on a friends rifle with a brand new scope. Held the rifle to my shoulder and lit up a tree 102 yards away. Adjusted crosshairs so they looked to be on, then went to sandbags and three shots later was stacking bullets in the bullseye.
Very pleased.

Very well constructed all brass so it won’t scratch anything. Chambers nicely took about 10 minutes at most to dial in.

So, after many coworkers recommended I use a laser bore sighter to zero my red dot, I got this in .223 caliber. I decided on this brand after reading reviews on several sites including this one. I was skeptical to be honest. The day it was delivered I was curious so I decided to zero my Holosun HS515GM using it in my basement which is about 45 feet lengthwise. I didn't rest the rifle on anything I just aimed it standing up making adjustments until the red dot reticle was on the laser point projected on the wall. I took my rifle to the range and took 5 shots using my red dot at 25 meters and all shots were within a .75 inch circle on the bullseye. At 50 meters my shots were within 1.5 to 1.7 inch circle (excluding the 2 shots I pulled). Very impressed with this. L highly recommend this specific brand of laser bore sighter. Oh yeah, you also don't need to take the batteries out to turn off the laser. It has an on/off switch on the back that is actuated using a little key supplied or a flat head screw driver.
Pros:
- Works as intended
- Accurate out of the box
- saves money on ammunition
Best Used for:
- Saving money on ammunition
- zeroing red dot optic
- driving my dogs crazy

The bore sighter was ordered with other items. To find out it was back ordered 8 weeks. A little disappointed about that . But was Happy they got it to me in 4 weeks. So nice surprise. And works great . Takes a small screwdriver to turn it off and on. Which I liked better than the thread rim style.

I noticed that the batteries were corroded after I opened the package. Tried them anyway with no luck. I ordered some new batteries so I'll see if they work after they arrive.

Have been fighting boresighters all year. This one is a dream. After boresighting I went out and made the bull on the target a ragged hole. Usually the boresighter just gets me within inches, not dead-on.
It does not get any better than that.

In my opinion a bore laser is the best way to get as close to the center of the crosshairs before the drop of you projectile without wasting ammo. The only dislike I have for the .22lr or .22WMR Site-Rite Chamber Cartridge is its to small for button batteries so there is a electrical cable coming out the back of the Cartridge to a AAA battery pack. On a moving barrel like a SA pistol the slide cannot close completely due to the cable therefore the barrel will not sit in its firing position. I.E. cannot achieve a correct alignment.

All three of the provided batteries came corroded. Otherwise, it functions as specified once new batteries were inserted.

I purchased the 5.56. It seats well in the chamber and offers a good starting zero before going to the range. I use this when prepping for for going to range. I am either confirming sight/scope zero or dialing the sight/scope in enough to get on paper.
