Most Helpful Positive Review Great Little Sight
I have had this on my AR 15 for about a year and a half and have not once had any issues with it at all. It holds zero as it should and seems to be built like a tank! I like the quick detach as well! If you want a descent sight that is very comparable to an eotech but want to save the money then i promise you will not be disappointed with this sight!!

awesome product

by joe, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 14, 2020
Love this product as a cheaper red dot option, can I compare it to an aimpoint probably not. That’s not to say this isn’t an amazing option though, I have 2 aimpoints and two of these. I love both but if I had to trust my life I might go aimpoint, this holds up to abuse and keeps its zero so don’t feel like this isn’t a great product.
Pros:
  • Holds zero
Cons:
  • none can see

Best reflex for the money

by Mike W., from SC, United States Written on August 30, 2018
SIGHTMARK LQD mounted on my Yugo m70 AKM. Works fine, no issues. For the money I doubt you can find a better sight, honestly. People made fun of me for using it but you can't argue with the results. If you want you can pay 3x as much and get the same thing out of an [namebrand] sight. Maybe for a more expensive safe queen rifle but for my AK, something cheap and durable is all I need.
Pros:
  • Bright Reticle, Quick Detach, Solid housing
Cons:
  • Elitists may ridicule you but not while you're holding your rifle

Excellent sight for the money

by Mike, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on June 21, 2018
This is a great sight when you consider what you get and the price. It isn’t the the best but it works well and holds zero. I can’t give it 5 stars because I doubt its claim to be built to military specs.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • None

Great product

by Kelley, from MA, United States Written on June 9, 2018
Mine is On a cz 805. Holds a zero just as well as my Eotech does. QD mount is machined very well. Detach and attach and I am still on target. Not .22 Benchrest on target but what does that? Fifty yard zero and I’m good out to two hundred for a max pbz. Works just fine with a Vortex tripler. Just like an Eotech for much less $$. I like it a lot and would recommend it wholeheartedly.
Pros:
  • Tough and accurate
Cons:
  • Does not have a hot shot logo
Best Used for:
  • Tac stuff and 3 gun
Would recommend: Yes

Nice red dot for the price.

by Mike, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on May 13, 2018
I put this sight on a 300 AAC pistol build and I am very happy with it. The reticle is nice and clear and the images through the glass are free of distortion. The sight seems to be well built and sturdy but I haven't yet put it through any real abuse. I have an astigmatism in both eyes so therefore the reticle is a little smeared in it's appearance but that distortion is much less in this sight when compared to others I have tried.

  • Price

  • None
Best Used for:
  • Tactical

Shuts off every 5 minutes no matter what

by Chuck, from FL, United States Written on February 11, 2018
This is a good sight and I like sightmark products. But it's motion sensing feature doesn't quite work like it says it does. It shuts off no matter how much you move in 5 minutes. As soon as it does and you move it turns on. But in 5 minutes it's shutting off. And it doesn't matter if you run arround the block with the rifle. It's shutting off in 5 minutes. Every time you move doesn't reset the 5 minute clock. It shuts down and then when you move it turns back on. It shouldn't say in the description that if the rifle sits motionless for 5 minutes it shuts down. It shuts down in 5 minutes no matter what you do. I don't like that. And it's even worse, you can't turn the feature off. The sight works great, just was a deal breaker for me. Getting an protect. Problem solved.
Pros:
  • Everything else
Cons:
  • Programming sucks
Best Used for:
  • Target range

Great unit!

by Victors1, from PA, United States Written on January 23, 2017
This is a great red dot sight for the money. Seems sturdy, over 200 rounds so far. Easy to attach to the rail on my AR-15. It took awhile to get zeroed, but it was my first time sighting in an optic. Love the circle-dot retical too. I think this optic is great value for my money!
Pros:
  • ease of accurate fire for shooter
  • Easy Mount
Cons:
  • nothing bad to say
Best Used for:
  • AR 15
Would recommend: Yes

Great secondary. Even better primary on a budget.

by Tgilbride74, from GA, United States Written on January 7, 2017
This thing is built like a tank. I have the one with the slimline qd mount nice, no need to worry about snagging. Ignore if you like Eotechs, then buy one. My main rifle has an Eotech. My budget dictates that I can't always afford one for every rifle. So for my range toys this is way more than adequate. The form factor is familiar which is why I love. Even if this was on my primary rifle I wouldn't be ashamed to rock this at the range.
Pros:
  • Magnesium shell
  • Familiar form and function
  • Price is awsome
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • On a budget
Would recommend: Yes

Fit perfect on my Ar15,is water resistance, you can adjust the brightness, the red dot is very precise works really nice and the best part you can get it for a good price than the EOTECH. I'm very happy with this product and more with OpticsPlanet because they have everything of what I need.
