Most Helpful Positive Review Sightmark hits the mark on this one
This reddot sight from Sightmark/Opticsplanet covers all the basics. What caught my attention was the price and also there was nothing too fancy except for the side rail it gives it a tough and tactical look. Mounting mechinisim is good and solid and the light gray stands out in contrast to the colo...

Most Helpful Negative Review Perfect budget red dot sight
Does the job it’s supposed to do. The selection between red/green is great if that makes a difference to you. Overall it’s not too heavy but you can tell it’s there. I really like the grey color as it matches some other accessories that I have

Optics planet exclusive Sightmark red dot

by Ronnie, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on August 14, 2026
Like the window size of the optic! Seems to fit well. Very tight fit with no adjustment on my AR 22 upper out of the box. Was super easy to dial in red dot. I will remove tiny rail section and trim screws down to make it a normal slim line! Can’t beat the price! Great deal.
Pros:
  • I like all the choices of reticles
Cons:
  • Rail may get in the easy with my shotgun charging knob
  • Small rail may get in the way of my shotgun handle but will remove.

Large window, good brightness levels, red n green, & durable construction. The circle-dot reticle is perfect for the vrpf14.

This thing is a beast, big and heavy

by Chootem, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 6, 2026
I put it on a tactical shotgun and took it back off. I really like it but can't figure out what to mount it on because it's so dang big. Other than size it has 4 modes and with astigmatism in my eye the cross and circle are much easier to put on target than a plain red dot. I also like the two color options. It seems really well made. Did i mention it's really big? I'm talking 4x the size of my Sig Romeo Zero.

Wouldnt hold zero on a bb gun..

by mick4tfd, from TX, United States Written on June 4, 2026
Put it on ar AR pistol, .223. Started trying to sight in at 20 yds, hit dirt- adjust UP, hit paper.. adj again L/R: hit dirt. Adj UP, goes HIGH.. and on and on.. Could hit it with my hand and see dot moving.. Junk.. Some may get lucky but I didnt on this, not risking my life on this brand again. Good luck!
Pros:
  • Looks nice
Cons:
  • wont hold zero
Best Used for:
  • anchor

For 85 shipped it can't be beat.

by Steve Stevenson, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on June 3, 2026
Looks great on my GFORCE arms GF25. The high settings are super bright and produce glare. Using a scatter gat i like the circle with a dot in the middle. It locks down well but for a Pic rail I would like to see it have a cross bar to give it better lock down.
Pros:
  • Big and beefy
Cons:
  • glare
Best Used for:
  • Range guns not depend on life guns

Great Red Dot

by mil-dot, Verified Owner from NM, United States Written on April 22, 2026
I would have written the review sooner but I wanted to take the red dot to the range first. It is easy to install, very easy to zero, holds zero even with rough handling and at this price, it is a great buy.
