Most Helpful Positive Review Great Buy!
This is the second Simmons Blazer scope I have bought from Optics Planet. The first I put on a Marlin 336 30-30 and was so impressed with it that I bought another one to put on a Winchester 94 30-30 angle-eject. On both I used Weaver medium mounts and didn't need to remove the rear sights (I don't ...

Most Helpful Negative Review simmons 8 point 4x32
Seems like a nice scope for the money but the focus knob Is so loose that It keeps moving out of adjustment. Purchased this scope thinking I was going to get a $30.00 rebate which Opticsplanet advertised. But This scope did not qualify for The simmons rebate. Wish I didn't purchase.

What I needed

by MikeG, Verified Owner from MD, United States Written on November 27, 2023
Mounted on a 20 Gauge Mossberg 500 with a picatinny low mount. Good Eye relief and clear view. Perfect for 50 Yards and worked well for 100 Yards using a sabot slug in the rifled barrel. Sighting in was easy after bore sighting with a laser before the range.

This is one of the best deals on Optics

by Doug, from MO, United States Written on August 27, 2023
I have had multiple fixed power simmons scopes over the years. They have all been clear, easy to focus, easy to mount, light weight and durable.
Alot of folks forget the flexibility of a fixed power scope. They are typically quick on target well past 200yds and easy to keep on moving game. What more can you ask for??

Simmons 4x32

Great fixed power scope for the money.
Well built and good optics. I mounted this on a CVA 44 Mag single shot and
it works as intended. It has held up well to full power loads and the optics
are good. I would definitely buy again.

great for price

by Blake, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on May 30, 2018
Well delineated adjustments with solid clicks, low profile makes mounting easier. No bore sighting needed, placed this on my grandfather's 30-06 and first three shots were 2 inches from bullseye at 50 yards.

simmons makes the best scope for a cheap price that is waranteed fog proof and shock proof and water proof.
for 100 yard you got a good picture
out to 300 yards its still ok, not the best but better than iron sights and it handles AR15 recoil no problem
i hae like a dozen f these and no worries

Great scope for the money

by Murphy, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on January 16, 2017
I'm amazed that this is a $25 scope. Its bright, clear, easy to zero and holds zero. I mounted one on an AR-15 and its perfect. I'm very pleased with the price to performance ratio. Very good bang for the buck.
Pros:
  • price, quality and performance
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting

Great for the money

by Hank, from KY, United States Written on May 31, 2016
Bought this to put on an old Marlin 336 that I inherited from my Father. The old Tasco was pretty much useless. Took it to the range and was able to sight it in very quickly. I think it will work great for where I hunt. There are no sight lines beyond 75 yards. The only complaint is the vertical clicks are almost non existent. Windage clicks were much better.
Pros:
  • clear glass
  • pricing
Cons:
  • Elevation screws don't click

Great for the price

by theluminater, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 15, 2016
I bought this Simmons scope for my Ruger 10/22 because the price was right, and let's face it, how fancy do you really need to get for a .22! The scope itself has held up well, and zeroing in is very easy in the field, as the windage and elevation knobs don't require a screwdriver/brass to adjust. You get what you pay for with this scope, and for me it was exactly what I needed.
