I bought this case to put my rifle in to travel from Florida to Colorado. It held everything in place during the flights, which we all know can be a traumatic experience for luggage. I found it at Optics Planet for a great price, too! Would definitely recommend this product.

Totally satisfied with my SBK case.. It was my first but I’m going to purchase 2 more for other rifles. I really like that it’s light and the latches are easy to operate. My rifle fits perfect in the case even with a very large scope.

Drove 1500 miles one way over three days, and gun never moved inside this case. Strong sturdy outside plenty of foam inside. SKB cases are durable , it will stand the test of time. I have several. The reason It did not get 5 out of 5 stars from me, is the foam... I prefer the type of phone that you can cut away for your particular gun

I have both a Pelican and Cabelas gun case. For the money, this was a pleasant surprise when received in the mail. It is better than the Pelican due to price. It is better than the Cabelas in as much as it is 1\2 in ch deeper-- not much, but important when you have turrents on both sides of your scope. Quality is just as good if not better in my opinion....

SKB PUTS OUT A REALLY GREAT "AFFORDABLE" PRODUCT. I FOUND THEY MAKE MORE CASES THAT ARE AS GOOD AS PELICAN CASES, BUT AS I MENTIONED, MORE AFFORDABLE. THEY HAVE DURABLE CONSTRUCTION TO PROTECT MY INVESTMENTS. THE SIZE I CHOSE ACTUALLY FIT 2 RIFLES AMD/OR SHOTGUNS WITHOUT COMPROMISING SPACE BETWEEN THE WEAPONS TO PROTECT THEM. THE ONLY THING I HAD TO DO TO ACCOMODATE BOTH WEAPONS WAS TO REMOVE THE STYROFOAM INSERT FROM THE FOAM; A BIT OF WORK TO DO, BUT NO PROBLEM. TO ALL WHO PURCHASE SKB CASE, DONT WORRY, YOUR WEAPON/S WILL BE SAFE AND SECURE IN TRANSPORT AND STORAGE.

skb case is very well made heavy duty ar15 with scope will not fit only bolt action rifles with scope still a great case to protect your rifle for the price can't go wrong just make sure of the width of your rifle and scope to be sure

Great case for the money. Sturdy and we'll made. I personally would prefer the block cut egg crate foam but this is fine for my scoped rifle. Lockable latches would be nice especially if you pay near retail price. Shop and you can pick these up for less than $110

This is a solid, sturdy, and heavy rifle case. All components seem to be top quality. The hinges seems sturdy, and the four closures clamp down with authority and have metal reinforced holes for attaching small travel locks. The interior foam also seems very heavy-duty. This case has a very positive lock-up and is supposed to be waterproof and dust-proof by virtue of a gasket around the lid. Compared to my trusty old Gun Guard plastic/aluminum gun case from thirty years ago as my standard, this case is way sturdier and heavy-duty. I do not take my rifle on the airlines, so I am sure that the heavy plastic construction will last and protect my rifle in all foreseeable circumstances. If I was an air traveler, I might have chosen another material, perhaps aluminum. The case has a lifetime warranty. The only shortcoming that I have noticed is that the lid only opens 90 degrees on its hinges. My old case opens 180 degrees, which comes in handy at the rifle range, in that I can lay two rifles down on it when fully open, one rifle on either side. I would have only deducted a half point for this if I had the choice. It's a little pricey, too, but I think in-line with the competition. Overall, this is the heaviest-duty rifle case I have ever owned in 40 years, and I am very pleased with it.

For the price I was pleasantly impressed. Sturdy cases with secure latches and means to secure with a lock if needed.
Excellent case. I have no negative comments. Foam padding is egg crate style. Very solid case.

Let's face it, if your rifle case costs as much as your rifle, there's an issue. This thing seals like a beast, has some good hearty latches which grip better then your meat claws holding onto your beer at a pool party around your crazy uncle who always shoves everyone into the pool. The interior foam is good, hugs and caresses your AR like a loving mother holding her new born, which we all know is the same thing when it comes to a mans rifle. Now if you're looking to protect those Walmart optics you slapped on your rifle, because you know, what's the difference right, this is right up your alley.
