I had to call the manfacturer because the operation of the flashlight confused me. The bottom cap seems to have a button to power the flashlight on and off. The manufaturer sxplained the light is designed to be silent so you have to screw the cap tight to turn on and unscrew to turn off.

Best AA Flashlight out there

This Flashlight does what it was intended to do. Illuminate! I was pleasantly surprised to see what I had read about this flashlight was true. Very bright 90 lumens for a light that runs off AA batteries. I love my Surefire lights but man the batteries run dry quick so I picked this up and now I need a few more of these around the house and in my car. BUY IT!
Pros: Super Bright for AA Battery Type LED Light
Cons: I do not have more than one yet.
Would recommend: Yes
