Most Helpful Positive Review Great bag!
Although the description is inaccurate (fault of S&W) this is still a great bag. In this version the two padded handgun pockets are built into the main compartment and not zippered but deep. As far as I know they are removable and zippered with the larger version of this bag (Officer Tactical). Also, it does not have a removable ammo caddy nor a clip on nylon beverage holder. In this bag I can fit two full size original hard plastic pistol cases along with two loose pistols, one in each internal padded pocket, plus eye and ear protection all inside the main compartment with a little room l...

Range bag for guns and ammo

by Phil, from PA, United States Written on February 25, 2023
The range bag is Great! Really good size for 2 guns, ammo, glasses and ears. Seems well made. I like the double zipper and Velcro, and handles are proper length. Graphics also cool. I would recommend this bag for going back and forth to the range.

Best Range Bag I've Ever Owned

by BP, from PA, United States Written on February 21, 2023
This is hands down the best range back I've ever owned. I hesitated buying it because it was a little pricey, or so I thought. I had just been using an old Maxpedition backpack at the time. I caved and bought it and man am I happy I did. It's super spacious, in the main compartment I keep a hard pistol case, boxes of ammo, over head ear pro, two pairs of eye pro, armorers wrench, and rolled up targets. The two compartments I keep my staple gun, staples, tools. Front and back pockets are empty except for zip ties but have extra space for whatever. And the large pocket is good for holding large capacity mags and handgun mags for transport. And there's still space left in the bag. It's very well made, the material is thick and rugged, the straps have an extra eyelet I use for clipping my Range badge on. I don't have anything bad to say about this bag, I'm really stoked I bought it.
Pros:
  • rugged
  • reliable
  • Large
  • Organizational
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Range
  • Target shooting
  • transport

Just what I wanted!

by Regina, from TX, United States Written on August 12, 2020
This bag is very durable and has tons of room. Big enough without being bulky and cumbersome. Handle or shoulder strap convenience for your choice. Very satisfied with my purchase. S&W wins again.

by Dee, from TX, United States Written on December 28, 2019
Purchased to carry handguns and gear to range. I have several Smiths, so was excited to find a Smith bag for a great price. Very well made. Excellent design to carry everything you need in one bag. Very proud to show it off at the range. Great price, service, and quality. Very highly recommend this bag.
