So far it’s better than I thought
Seeing the price in this scope you would think that this is meant for airsoft guns. After reading about the company that makes this I decided to give it a try. I didn’t have high hopes about the scope at first but so far (over 100 rounds) it has been solid. Has held zero and the mounting device has...

Out of the box review
So, a little background: I WAS going to join the Grunt Snipers, but I would have punched the grunt sniper drill instructor in the face, so I know what I'm talking about. I'm only writing a review to clear some things up after opening the box, I haven't used the scope yet. It is NOT a 1" tube, it a 3...

Long description of this item is inaccurate: This is a non illuminated version
I purchased 2 of these knowing that it was a budget option. The features (4X w/ illumination) at the sale price was worth a try. The long description is inaccurate. It states illuminated. It is not. They do make an illuminated reticle version but this is NOT it. Add the fact that eye relief is brutal, akin to looking thru a straw. Honestly, not even good enough for a .22 LR range toy. I did not expect Trijicon quality at this price point, but these are getting returned promptly. A big pass for me.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Unforgiving Eye Relief
- long description is not accurate
Best Used for:
- Airsoft, maybe

Better than I expected.
Bought this for a retro looking budget gun (with 20in FN upper). Didn't expect too much given the price. Turned out to be pretty solid.
- Glass is good and the reticle is perfect for a 4x20. The BDC Dial isn't perfect, but I found if I dial it to the 300yds setting I can hit steel out to 500yds no problem using the first lower Mil Dot as a holdover (firing 62gr M855). Dialing to the 500yds setting put me 4-5ft over target at 500yds. The BDC dial also doesn't have the best position locks, so it's easy to turn past or not exactly land on a desired yard setting.
-It's a little heavier than I thought it would be (which I like) and seems really durable, but I'm not going to drop test it, lol.
-The mount channel also allows you to use your irons, and you can dial them up past 600yds without the base of the tube getting in the way.
-It sits and fits solid with no wiggle and I haven't had a shift in zero after 60+ rounds (I think?) so, so far so good!
-The scope caps can pop off kind of easy but that's not really a problem to me.

Misleading
No carry handle included as shown in the photo. So you get a $29.00 scope for $49.99. The scope is a knock off of the Vietnam era Colt 4X scope used on the US military M16 A1. The scope is not a bad scope for a fixed 4 power AR15 scope however with out the carry handle to mount it on it is usless.

Great simple optic.
No frills, but works great. I needed a riser to mount it to my rifle, because it's already prepared to mount to an AR carry handle. So a few minutes effort, and a riser, and it was just right. Light, good reticle, easy to sight in, accurate.
Pros:
- Simple, sturdy
Cons:
- No illumination, no riser included

Nice and simple
I prefer fixed power optics because they are easy to use, and this is no exception. By far the easiest scope mount I’ve ever done. To be fair I find it sits too high on the carry handle and the eye relief just isn’t enough. I am definitely going to try mounting it to the flat top with the included separate mount.
Pros:
- Glass seems clear, simple operation and installation. Includes an alternative mount.
Cons:
- A bit too high for me and not enough relief

easy base scope
I wanted something just to give me a little edge seeing long distance, & this is it! Heavier duty than I expected (for the price!) work WONDERFULLY! Very pleased. Took every bit of 5 minutes to install, (had a piece of tape on box, couldn’t find knife!) comes with both times of mounts. I used carry-handle mount,(ole-school) , looks good, works good. With front & back covers too! Thanks!
