I was doing a 300 blackout build in od green, and this stock was a great match. It's basic but thats what i wanted. Works great, matched my od green build great, and for a reasonable price.

This stock is pretty good for the price. It's not quite as OD green as I was hoping and a few small molding seams are sloppy.

I haven't had a chance to run this stock through a training course or something else really hard. At the range and training at home, this is working well. The color is a little lighter than Magpuls OD Green but only a few shades darker. If you really want to, you can dye it with Rite Dye to match Magpul but to me, that is very cosmetic and unnecessary. This stock will also accept cheek weld risers.

I removed the sling loop since I decided to use a midway industries QD mount that uses the rear horizontal slot. Solid basic mil-spec stock. If you are going to use a QD mount or some paracord, I would recommend removing the metal sling loop which is simple only requiring a flat screwdriver.

For the price, this is a good stock. If you are on a budget or want to build your first AR. I highly recommend using all mil-spec furniture until you can find something lighter and better. I currently have this stock, Magpul K2 verticle grip and
B5 systems carbine length m-lok handguard - all in OD Green. This build is light and quick.

Stock is pretty much useless all around. Top isn’t leveled off to allow charging handle to clear unless fully extended. But if it is fully extended it is sloppy and isn’t tight on the buffer tube. I don’t recommend.

The Sniper advanced carbine buttstock is pretty good for the money.it does the job just fine. No complaints as of yet . The shipping came faster than expected. I will definitely order more from Optic Planets.
