The mount itself is good. The split rings are supposed to be two different sizes to accomadate barrel diameter. Both split rings are almost the same. Outside diameters are the same as they should be. Tri-rail barrel mount for AR with front site

Tri-rail arrived in good time and condition. No instructions, however it was easy to piece together and assemble. The rifle sling attachment under the raised front site needs to be removed for this to fit properly. Good fit and allows more teal estate to attach furniture.

I was hesitant to buy this, Not much info for average joe out there. I Put this on a upper to accommodate a light. The QD holes are no good at least with the Mag pull QD's. If you don't have enough real-estate on your handguard I would recommend it for a light mount. The two barrel shrouds that come with it works on a 16' mid length gas A2 front site with bayonet sung.
