Most Helpful Positive Review SOG finally brought out a quality knife!
American steel, razor sharp, rugged, built like a Sherman Tank. Well built, unlike much of the cheap junk flooding the knife market. My Spyderco has been my EDC knife for nearly 2 decades, but I wanted to upgrade to a thicker grip and stronger lock. Well over 50 now (carried a knife every day since age 5), with a bit of arthritis... a thicker grip is FAR easier to use and much more comfortable to hold. Excellent cutting power and leverage. Absolutely 100% happy with this SOG, its a high end tool, well worth every penny. Sure, there are much cheaper knives available that will cut rope and boxes...

Just clearing something up

First of all I absolutely love this knife, I got mine on the first production run available to civilians. Absolute beast. I have beat the $*%# out of this thing and it’s just as rock solid and crisp as the day i got it. Also someone asked where it was made and some misinformed individual answered and said it’s made in the USA but assembled in asia. This is not true. It is made and assembled entirely in the United States. every part of the knife is made in the USA and the parts are shipped to SOGs factory in Lynwood Washington where the knife is assembled in their factory.

It’s a beast

SOG has done a lot to revamp their designs and choice of steels. S35VN is great, it will take a razor edge and hold it for a good bit of time as well. I’ve taken this knife backpacking and camping and it’s held up to cleaning fish, some light batoning and woodcraft. I’m pleased with the design and execution.
