B Square Sport Utility Rings are a great value....but....
These rings are similar in design to Leupold PRW rings....they will minimize ring marks on the scope by "folding/wrapping" around the scope tube when they are tightened....look closely at the design, the angle of the split on the ring...it is really brilliant. However, these rings are made of much softer metal than the more expensive rings and the threads are much easier to strip out. The design and the strength of the material is sufficient...it is not strong enough to bubba or democrat them. I would never attempt to install then with out a torque wrench / FAT wrench. B-Square Usually Has What You Need
B-Square products have long provided good functionality at reasonable prices. This set of rings is no exception. My only gripes are that the optics market cannot agree on what is the color of modern stainless steel rifles. My Winchester Model 70 in stainless steel is not bright. My Burris scope, coded as "nickel", is not bright. These rings have too much white in the color and are brighter than either the scope or rifle. I also object to products made in China not noted in the on-line product descriptions. The country of manufacture should be shown.

Installed several of these rings on .17 HMR rifles in silver finish. Really look great at a good price.

Very sturdy mounts
These rings are very well built, sturdy, and lock down to the base securely. The only thing that could be better would be to have one-piece base and rings!
