Transformed my PTR Rifle
I searched and reviewed every M-4 style adapter for the HK G-3 / PTR 91 rifle as I was desperate to find a way to shorten the length of pull on my PTR 91FR. My conclusion was that in the fully closed position the M-4 style adapters do shorten the LOP, but not my much, and in any other position other than fully closed it appears the LOP is right back where you started. I then discovered the Spuhr Stock Assembly which is specifically engineered for the HK G3 / PTR 91 platform and determined that the LOP with the Spuhr Stock is substantially shorter than one could achieve with the M-4 style adapt...

HK revival
I purchased the Spuhr stock to update my 1950s HKG3 designed rifle. It is a vast improvement to the original design, however, it renders the original rear sight unusable. It is perfect if you are using optics. It is better than the original G3 and HK collapsible stock. Easy to install, just need to use your original buffer assembly and back plate from any G3 stock assembly. I am very happy with this well designed stock.

PTR 32 Upgrade
I originally had the all steel telescoping stock on my 7.62x39 PTR but it proved to have an exceedingly long LOP. Not to mention the increased weight. The Spuhr stock upgrade does need to be installed onto a separate buffer if your setup is in my original configuration. RTG Parts has what you need for the cheapest prices and very high quality OEM parts. My rifle now is substantially lighter with a much preferred compressed firing position.

Exactly what I needed for my PTR91. Ergos are on point. A must have if you want to run optics on a HK91/G3 rifle.

Best Stock
It brings 7.62 NATO recoil nicely inline with your shoulder. It puts you at a great level for red dots, but makes the factory Irons unusable.

Tired of your G3 pattern rifle handling like a pike?
...then get this stock. Fits up solid and secure, military fielded by Scandinavian forces. Particularly excellent on carbine models. Really allows you to work toward getting proper eye relief on prism scopes, LPVOs.
Recommend not tightening the two small buffer bolts in the butt plate assembly during installation until you get the large buffer bolt in the Spuhr buffer tube threaded in.

Awesome SR9 Mod
This stock is leagues above the standard cheek bone crusher. It lowers the boreline into the stock to increase handling at higher rates of fire. Plus its adjustable, so you can use it with your plate carrier!

Excellent stock ,very pricey , if you got the money and you want a better shooting PTR buy it you won’t regret it. The collapsibility and the rigidity of this stock is the key ,,, hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
