If you are like me and watched an episode of Forgotten Weapons with Ian and believed every word that he said about this product, DONT! This stock is durable, looks cool and can really add a touch of modernization to your G3 clone, however do no be fooled. This stock will not reduce recoil. Its not designed to. Allow me to actually enlighten you. You can buy any third part AR15 buffer conversion for alot cheaper. The so called "In-line stock" is more of a gimmick as the stock itself is position exactly as it should be along may other AR15 conversion stock for the G3. It has to because the buffer system has to line up perfectly with the bolt carrier. I will add, that many of the already existing after market stocks are half as cheap with the same quality and moreover, if you really need to reduce the recoil to your shoulder you'll have to buy an after market buffer. Most buffers can be installed in most G3 clones and will significantly reduce that recoil that you feel.
What sets it apart is its unique style and ties to the Swedish AK 4D. The stock itself comes in a simple white cardboard box which includes some sort of buffer adapter. I didnt need it for the particular buffer that I have. The entire thing can be install relatively easy without much mechanical knowledge. It took me about 10 minutes to do it on my own after watching a tutorial on youtube (I suggest you do the same). Good fitment and quality. Overpriced for what you recieve. Sharp sprue from plastic molding process.

I purchased the Spuhr stock to update my 1950s HKG3 designed rifle. It is a vast improvement to the original design, however, it renders the original rear sight unusable. It is perfect if you are using optics. It is better than the original G3 and HK collapsible stock. Easy to install, just need to use your original buffer assembly and back plate from any G3 stock assembly. I am very happy with this well designed stock.

I originally had the all steel telescoping stock on my 7.62x39 PTR but it proved to have an exceedingly long LOP. Not to mention the increased weight. The Spuhr stock upgrade does need to be installed onto a separate buffer if your setup is in my original configuration. RTG Parts has what you need for the cheapest prices and very high quality OEM parts. My rifle now is substantially lighter with a much preferred compressed firing position.

Very good product amazing materials from a trusted company. I believe this is Swiss or German would definitely recommend it.

Exactly what I needed for my PTR91. Ergos are on point. A must have if you want to run optics on a HK91/G3 rifle.

It brings 7.62 NATO recoil nicely inline with your shoulder. It puts you at a great level for red dots, but makes the factory Irons unusable.

Sent timely, excellent shape. Parts fit and work as advertised. Has improved item beyond my requirements.

...then get this stock. Fits up solid and secure, military fielded by Scandinavian forces. Particularly excellent on carbine models. Really allows you to work toward getting proper eye relief on prism scopes, LPVOs.

Recommend not tightening the two small buffer bolts in the butt plate assembly during installation until you get the large buffer bolt in the Spuhr buffer tube threaded in.

This stock is leagues above the standard cheek bone crusher. It lowers the boreline into the stock to increase handling at higher rates of fire. Plus its adjustable, so you can use it with your plate carrier!
