For Builders
For builders this is perfect if your getting into building then I recommend using a complete lower parts kit rather than oops/replacement kits like this. The parts are mil-spec standard so they work well enough.

AR-15 spare parts
You should have all of the parts to do the job. I have a lot of experience with repairs and replacement of small parts. Having a backup is a very important part of being able to finish the job on time. Having a backup is part of that plan.

Stag Arms AR-15 Lost Parts Replacement Kit
I used the Stag Arms parts kit on my last "true build" (NOT a completed upper and assimbeld lower and then just slap them together and call it a build)
I started with a stripped upper and bare lower and purchused all the parts one at a time until it was complete. The parts fit and work great!

Yea. Was installing a new Magpul A.S.A.P. and tink, the buffer retainer set popped out. Found the spring in the lower. The retainer? Gone. Looked 1.5 to 2 hours. Firearm is down. However I had just ordered this set and it came the day after I tinked the part. It is a functional firearm. Better get it. These are going to disappear. Thank you Optics Planet and Stag Arms. Made my life a bit less stressful.
Pros:
- You're gonna need most of these parts if you're a DIY.
- You're going to need these all eventually. Have them on hand.
Cons:
- The con is if you don't stock up.
