Could easily be 5 star
To start, I have multiple S&B klassiks and a Polar. I have two Leupold VX5HD and a Nightforce NXT. Only one of my scopes has gave me fits and it’s one of the vx5HD. The other has never let me down but the other has been sent back twice and I have lost faith in it so that is why I bought this scope. So where does this stack up. Glass is right there with all of them but the S&B Polar. That Polar is the best. The Steiner predator 4 dusk and dawn performance is every bit as good as all the others and better than the nightforce. The tracking is as good as the others and better than the vx5HD. The o...

Nice scope, I returned for credit as it is too big, way more than needed for everyday deer hunting.

Steiner Quality as Usual
I ordered this scope for a Beretta BRX1 in .243. As usual, Steiner's glass is crystal clear, the scope feels well made, and the reticle is spot-on. Controls were easy to use and worked well. Be aware, the eye relief is a little short (but I have a longer than average LOP, so perhaps that was part of it). It can be adjusted once mounted. All in all, I would recommend this excellent scope to complement an excellent rifle.
Pros:
- Quality
- glass
- Retical is fantastic

- None

Amazing Scope
Scope was easy to sight in and looks great on my Tikka .308. All set for deer hunting in Michigan. I do own a Leupold VX5HD and imo with my eyes I could not tell a difference between the two. I have not used it at low light yet. Would love to compare the two at low light situations. I am sure it will be just as good as the Leupold. This is my second Steiner scope and couldn’t say enough great things about it. All my buddies at the range were impressed as well.

Quality First
This is my first Steiner scope to purchase ever, but not the last. The Predator 4 2.5-10X 42mm rifle scope, 30mm tube was on sale so I thought it was time for me to try a Steiner scope. Binoculars have outstanding glass clarity and quality, so why not try their scopes on my AR. The E3 reticle with it high-quality crystal clear glass is a plus with the red dot that is adjustable for daylight or lowlight shooting. Elevation and windage markings are very user-friendly and easy to pick out. I’m a believer in Steiner Quality.
Pros:
- Quality Built, hold zero perfectly, glass clarity, outstanding
Cons:
- none so far
Best Used for:
- Wild pigs, deer and varmint alike
Would recommend: Yes
