I have owned the Steiner Predator C5 binoculars in 8x56 for several years so I have a lot of field time with them. I'll start with my only complaint to get that out of the way. These things are heavy so wear a good strap if you're going to be using them all day. That's the price you must pay for the 56mm lenses & the low light performance they provide.
These are the absolute best binos I've ever used. They consistently outperform much pricier brands/models. I am always able to check my shooting lanes prior to "shooting light" and can nearly always distinguish bucks & does at 200 yards well ahead of full light.
