I was surprised at how well this product worked. I really cut down on reflection.

Steiner Anti Relective Device (ARD)
The ARD works wonderful. In some cases it may make your viewing a little dark, but with mine I did not notice it. One thing to remember, the ARD comes with an allen wrench. When you have your ARD installed correctly, you will see a small hole on the side of the ARD. Thats where you insert the wrench to tighten it down!! Now it does make the binoculars a little longer and may not fit well. The case that came with my 10×50 Military/Marine works just fine.

ARDs are not up to Standard
The Steiner 730 ARD does not hold up to use, once they are mounted on and tightened to the 8x30 Rs they will not stay on if there is force applied to any angle but the direct front, they come off very easy and stick out far too much.

Steiner ARD Anti Reflective Devices for Steiner 8x30
Well made with deep honeycomb. I have not subjected this to rugged use yet.
Cuts glare to objective lens and makes viewing easier as well as preventing reflection back to subject.
Pros: Fits and cuts glare both ways. Quality product.
Cons: A little expensive.
